Chapter 9 - The park

Denzel's POV
"Come on, Lettie!!" I turned around then runs to the park. "Coming!!" She replied. This is like when we were ten. I sat down on the swing, Lettie sat next to the swing next to me. "This is like when we were ten.." She chuckled. I smiled. "Yeah, just like when we were ten." I stood up then called her. "Stand up." She looked at me, confused. "Why?" "Remember that time when we take a look our height? I just wanna see if I'm taller now." I replied. "Obviously I'm taller." She rolled her eyes, she stood up then look at me. "Oh nevermind your more taller than me now." She crossed her arms. I chuckled then put my hands on top of her head. "Who's taller now, Mrs. Anderson?" I smirked. She pushed me playfully then points at me. "Im not small!! You're just tall!!!" "Pfft." I looked at her. She crossed her arms again then mumbles something under her breath. Shes still her like the day i met her. Shes still acting like a kid. I looked up then stares at the moon. I looked down the-- wait where'd Lettie go? I looked around but she's go-- "Weeee!!!" Somebody jumped on my back. I almost fall down but I controlled my balance. "What the heck, Lettie? Jeez you scared me." I said frustratedly. She giggled then wraps her arms around my neck while I carried her. You still act like a kid even though your already 15, huh?" "Yup." She smiled. Cute. We are both 15 but I'm older than her in 5 days. My birthday is June 25 and hers is June 30. We always have the same school too. Speaking of school.. "Where are gonna study?" I asked her. She looked at then said "Stella Fallio University. What about you?" Yus. We're same again! "Same as yours." I smiled. "Oh great I'm gonna be stuck with you." She said with a sarcastic voice then rolled her eyes. "Thats the first time you refused me! It hurts!" I said like a girl. We laughed then looked at each other. We walked around the park while I'm carrying her. "Jeez you gained so much weight."
I rolled my eyes. I'm serious she gained weight. She a bit heavy now. "You know me, i love food than you, ya kno?" "Ok that hurts." I replied then pretends that it really hurts. I looked around to find any place to stay for a while in the park, gladly I found a bench next with a park for small kids. We sat and talked for a while. We talked about our summer, vacations, school and others stuff we usually talk about. I looked at the time and it says 5:45pm. "Wanna watch the sun sets?" I asked her. "Yes, please." She took out her phone. "So you do photography now?" I asked her. "Yup." "You sending your stuff to others?" I winked at her. She slaps my arms. "WHAT THE HELL, DENZIE?" I laughed. I didn't know she know what I meant there. I'm still laughing that I can't breathe. We walked around to find a great spot to watch the sun sets. "Yo denz here." I looked at her as she walked away. I followed her. We stayed up in a roof. "This is a perfect spot." I said as I watch the sun sets while Lettie obviously took a picture of the sun. Its kinda perfect. Kinda cause no one is perfect. I peeked out, looking at her phone as she swipe. Wow she's really good at taking sceneries. I thought to myself. "What are you doing?" She looked at me. "Looking at your phone what do you think I'm looking at?" I asked her. She ignored me then I watch the world turn off. "I need to go home now mom is calling." She answered the phone then we get down. I almost fell down jeez.. I walked her home carrying her. "Ok drop me here." I did what she said. "Bye Lettie." "See ya tomorrow?" She asked. "Sure why not?" I smiled. She ran to me then hugs me. I kissed her forehead then saw her blushed. "Cute.." "Im not!!" "Yesh you are." "No."

"Fine I'll take your compliment." She rolled her eyes. "Bye." I said as I walked away. Cute..
