Chapter 6 - The universe notebook

Denzel's POV
"Wa-wa- OUCH OUCH STOOOP." I screamed. My little brother is wrestling me. Jeez, for a 10 years old boy he's good at wrestling. He wrapped around his arm on my neck, deadlocking me. I tapped down on the floor then Liam let go of me. I coughed and coughed. Damn lil bro, are you planning to kill me? I put my hands on my neck, rubbing it. Jeez... "Imma go to my room now." He said as he walk away. I lay down on the floor. I stared at the wall. I sighed. I looked at my right wrist with a bracelet on it. Even though I'm 15 I'm still wearing the bracelet that Scarlett gave me. "I miss you Lettie.." I thought to myself. I sighed. I stared on my wrist for two seconds when someone knocked. "Denzie, its time to go to buy your stuff for your school." Mom said. "Yea, mom." I sat up then rubs my back of my neck. I stood up and looked at myself on the mirror. I have a messy greyish hair with a brown eyes just like Scarlett. I wonder if Scarlett is still wearing braces. I looked at the calendar. "Daaaaamn, 7 days before school starts." I said. "Well at least i have to see those girls who wear short clothes." I smirked. "Nah, just kiddin." I said then opened my cabinet. I picked up my black jeans and my favorite white sweater that has "obey" on it. I quickly changed and put on some socks then finds my shoes. "Oh wait, i saw the shoes that I'm going to use and didn't even picked it up. Ugh, stupid Denzel." I go back two steps then facepalm myself. Stupid denzie. I put on my black high cut converse then goes downstairs. I picked up the keys beside the refrigerator and goes to the car. I started the engine then mom came inside. We left Liam alone in the house with our maid. I'm not the one who's driving its mom I just started the engine. We drove to the bookstore. Its not really far from here its like 10 minutes only. I took my phone then checks the time. Wow its already 2:00 pm. I didn't even noticed the time until now. After 10 minutes we are now on the bookstore. I quickly get the cart and helped mom get my stuff for school and of course, I helped mom to pick up her things she need for her office. I noticed a notebook. Oh damn, its a universe notebook! I need this. Scarlett really love this kind of notebook. Ill give this to her when i came back. I picked it up then look at it. I noticed someone staring at me. I looked at the girl and-- wait Scarlett? She have a brown eyes like me, a long black  hair. I like her T-shirt that says "Shut the fuck up." I waved my on hands on her face. "Uh miss you okay?" I asked. He looked at me again, snapping out of her reality. "Ye-yeah.. So-sorry.." She said shyly. Her voice... Is this really Scarlett? I handed over the notebook to her. "Here.. I think you really like this notebook." I said with a smile. "No no its ok you can have it." She said. I picked up the white notebook. "No no its ok I have a white one." She took the black universe notebook with her left hand on right hand. I noticed that she was wearing a bracelet that looks alike mine, but its white not black. It has her name on it. Scarlett? "Thanks" she said and smiled. Shes wearing braces just like Scarlett. I walked away then goes to mom. "Mom are we done?" I asked her, tapping her shoulder. "Oh there you are, and yes we're done." She smiled. I put the white notebook with a design of the universe. I stared at for a while then looks at the register. "7 days before school starts.."
