I woke up, and Cam was gone. She must have just gotten up, because her spot was still warm. I rubbed my eyes, and stretched. I glanced at the clock, it was 11:35pm. I figured she must be in the bathroom, and rolled onto my side.
Then I heard noises in the kitchen. I sprinted downstairs, and saw Cam by the sink. There was blood on the counter, and piled on the counter was a roll of bandages, scissors and gauze. She quickly turned around and stared at me with a terrified expression. Her bloodied sleeve was rolled up, and she had cuts on her wrist.
"I promise I didn't...  They were itchy and I just..." She grabbed a bunch of paper towels and started wiping the blood off. I grabbed the gauze, and put it on her cuts. She winced, and slowly relaxed. I started to wrap the bandages around her arm, and cut the end of it.
"Why?" I asked.
"You weren't talking to me for such a long time... And I just..." A tear rolled down her cheek. I hugged her tightly.
"Nothing is worth hurting yourself over. Do you understand?" I said softly, yet firmly.
"Yes.."
"Now, let's go to bed." I followed her upstairs, and we went back to sleep peacefully.
