I'm sitting there staring at this man and I'm not hearing a response to my question. "You know it's of bad form to not answer when someone asks you a question, so what is it that you need?" He seemed nervous yet he was mysterious. I couldn't really get a glimpse of his actual face but one thing that caught my attention were his gorgeous blue eyes. I was honestly intrigued. "So I heard you're looking for new recruits?" I smirked. "What handsome you looking to join my crew?" He nodded. "Are you willing to sail under the command of a female captain?" He smiled. "Yes if it means sailing away from this kingdom." I chuckled. "What ails you that makes you want to run away from this kingdom, I mean it is a glorious kingdom is it not?" He nods and then sighs. "I just want a new life." I get up and I walked behind him and I started to whisper in his hear. "A new life huh?" He nods and smiles nervously. "So you think you can be a pirate mister?" I lean back and stood there waiting for his response. "Liam Johnson." I smirked and sat back down. "I don't know Liam it's not easy being a pirate, we can do things that not everyone can swallow." He takes out a bag. "If it's gold you want I have some." He hands it to me and I smile. "Well now we are talking" I say as I grabbed it. "Rounds for me crew" I yell and everyone shouts and cheers. "Welcome aboard the black shadows Mister Liam, it's a pirate's life for you mate." He nods and as he gets up. "We leave at dawn." He nods and walks back to his seat. I laughed and said to myself I really want to see how he works with my crew. He gave off a weird vibe which I couldn't seem to shake off. I mean he is handsome but let's see if he makes a fine pirate. As I'm getting lost in my thoughts Mr. Fitz comes and startles me. "Ah Mr. Fitz you scared me" I yelled as he sat down. "My apologies captain but I may have some information about those people you were wondering about." I smiled. "So what did you find?" "Well it seems that someone hired those pirates to kill your..." "Shh Mr. Fitz" I whisper. He nods. "Sorry but yeah someone hired some rats from Mist Haven to get the job done." I sat there quietly. I can't believe that after years of searching I finally came across some vital information. What I couldn't comprehend is why would someone from Garrington knew such information if Mist Haven is like nearly a two-week journey from here. "So Fitz is your informant a viable source, is he of true words?" He nods. "Ok then Mr. Fitz enjoy the rest of the evening because we will sail away to Mist Haven at dawn." "So no stealing the treasures from the castle tonight?" I smirk as I look at Liam. "Not tonight." He nods and walks away to sit with the rest of the crew. I decided that I am going to spend some time alone on my ship. I walk over to the ship and I send Harry and Luke to go out to enjoy the rest of the evening to themselves. I went back to my cabin and took out a little box. I took out a little blue blanket and I started to cry as I hugged it. I was so determined to make those people pay for what they did to the people I loved the most. I folded the blanket and I put it back inside the box. I reached inside and I pulled out a necklace. It was a necklace that had a small dagger and a blue heart. I put it on and kissed it. I promise I will make those people pay I say as I'm holding it in my hands. I close the box and hid it under my bed. I walked up to the deck and I was just trying to pull myself together and be strong for the journey that lies ahead. I walk up to the quarter deck and sat down and just focused my gaze on the water. The sea is my life and I couldn't think of any other place I would rather be.
