Love Conquers All

It was night time and all was calm throughout the ship. Everyone was sound asleep and not a single soul was awake on the deck. All of a sudden there was a change in the winds. Something was going to happen, something unpleasant. In the distance you could see a little dim light, that light was a ship that was ready to attack the royal ship. One by one men dressed in black boarded the ship and wandered across the deck seeking who to devour. Little did Killian and Emma know that someone was going to challenge if their love for each other was true.

Killian's POV
I'm sitting there at my desk and thought to myself how in the world did I not just kiss her? She was right there but that gave me hope that she was interested in me because she didn't back away. I was dying to be with my old Emma, don't get me wrong I love this new Emma that I've gotten to know but I just wanted her in my arms already. After waiting a whole year to see her awake and not being able to hold her was the worst. I got up and looked out to the distance and just sighed. I have to be patient. I take a good look out the window and I see a light. Oh hell no, it's the Black Sea. It's the Northern Forces fleet lead ship. They were mad at me for not agreeing to side with them in a war against the neighboring kingdom. I backed up and reached for my sword and a sword hits my hand. I gasp and I see the men. "Hello your majesty." One of the men says and they grabbed my arms and started to take me out of the cabin. I tried to pull free but there were six of them and one of me. I kicked one and one punched me and I fell to the floor. I spit blood and thought to myself that it's been forever since this had happened to me. "You know it's of bad form to treat a king like that." The man smiles. "You won't be king for long." I hit one and knocked him unconscious and I grabbed my sword and stood on top of my desk. Another man tried to grab my leg and I kicked him. Another tried to grab me and I slashed him. The three that were left looked mad. "Enough!" One of them screams and takes out his sword. I jump over them and make my way to the deck. I started to fight with them and I noticed more and more were boarding. I ran to the bell and rang it and in a matter of minutes my men started to surge up to the top deck. I continued to fight them and I see Emma coming out of the cabin. "Watch out Emma!" I scream and one of the men slashes my arm and I hear her scream.

Emma's POV
I'm in my cabin and I was just laying there pondering on what almost happened today. I was so happy but mad I didn't get to actually kiss him. I couldn't believe that I was saying these things. As I was laying there I had a weird feeling so I continued to play with my ring to distract myself. This feeling couldn't go away. It was honestly bugging me. I got up and looked out the window and I saw a ship. That was odd why is there a ship here and at this time? I gasped. No we are going to get attacked. That's when I hear the bell ring. See I knew I was right. I started to panic and I stormed out of my room and ran to the deck. I look around and people were fighting with these men dressed in black. I was looking for Killian and then I see him and he looks at me and screams. "Watch out Emma!" That's when a man slashes his arm and I scream. He turns around and hits him in the face and that man is out cold. I stood there scared but for some reason this seemed all that too familiar. I see a lot of men gaining up on Killian and they started to punch him and hurt him badly. That's when someone stabs his shoulder and he screams. I don't know why but something clicked in me that when I heard him scream I just lost it. I tore my skirt and I grabbed a sword and started to fight these men. I had never yielded a sword before but it felt natural when I did. I stabbed and slashed as many as my sword could handle. I had punched one of the men and as soon as he saw me he gasped. "Captain Emma?" I gave him a weird look. "No it's Emma Rodriguez." And I stabbed him. That's when a man comes out of no where and starts to choke me. He lifted me up and I was starting to lose consciousness. I reached for anything that he had on his belt and I felt a dagger and I slashed his arm. He screamed and dropped me on the floor. As I was getting up still trying to catch my breath, he kicked me and picked me up and started to punch me like crazy. I kicked him so hard he fell flat on his back. I looked at Killian and he was still bleeding but continued to fight. He got up and I pushed him until he reached the edge. I punched him so hard that he fell backwards and fell into the water. I was still in shock that I was able to fight and do all these things. I run over to Killian and I stood on the stairs that let up to the quarter deck and I jumped and kicked that man in the face. He fell to the floor and I kicked him again. I pushed Killian to the side. The man grunted as he gasped for air. I smiled. "That hurt didn't?" He got up. "My my." I snarled. "Why don't you pick one someone your own size because the king is too much for you." He laughs, then grabs me and starts to caress my neck. "I think the king is too much for you, I think you will make a fine lover to the captain of our dear Black Sea." "In your dreams." He smirks and I kick him. As I scooted away I see someone running towards me with a sword aimed at me and as I was about to make my move someone grabs my arm and pushes me to the side. I look up and Killian had his sword and he stabbed the man while that man grazed Killian's side. Both men fell and I gasped. I was in shock. The captain of the ship hollers. "The ship is ours!" Everyone starts to cheer. I run over to Killian. "Why did you do that?" He smiled. "I couldn't lose you." I smiled as I looked down at him. "Someone help; the king is bleeding!" I yelled. The Knights came and took him back to the cabin and started to treat him. I sat on the floor and even though I was in extreme physical pain I was in more of a shock. How was I able to fight and do everything that I did when I had never done that before in my life? I fought with so much force it was scary. I think it was because my body responded to the danger that was occurring. I was sort of happy that I knew how to do something. One thing did bug me and that was as I was fighting them I kept getting like a flashback of some sort. Like I had done this before. You know like fight. I closed my eyes and tried to erase this horrible encounter. After the Doctor comes out from checking Killian he comes over to me. "Emma I need to check you." I nodded and he started to check me. He cleaned my wounds and then wrapped me up. He lifted my shirt and he noticed I had a bunch of scars. "How'd you get these dear?" I shrugged. "I don't remember." He nodded. He continued to treat my wounds. "Ok all done." I smiled. "Thank you." He smiled. I looked over to the door of the cabin and sighed. I walked over to the door and knocked. "Come in." I hear. I opened and I see Killian sitting on the bed. "Please leave us." Killian says to the Knights and they all leave. I stood to the side and watched as they left the room. I couldn't help but feel bad for everything that was going on. I can't believe these people were trying to kill him. As I'm walking towards him I couldn't help but feel bad seeing all those scars on his chest. Yeah he didn't have a shirt on and well my eyes sort of wandered. I get to his side and he smiles. "How are you doing your majesty?" He laughs. "I've seen worse." "I'm sorry for all this." He shakes his head. "There's nothing to be sorry about, the people that attacked us are well let's just say they were mad because I picked peace instead of war." I smile and I couldn't help but stare at his chest. I touched his chest and touched the huge scar he had right in the center of his abdomen area. "Sorry." He shook his head as I caressed his scar. "What happened there?" He looked down and put his hand on top of mine and then looked at me and half smiled. "What happened was that a long time ago I was trying to save someone." I gasp. "You saved that person?" He nods. "And let me guess the other person stabbed you?" He nods. "She must have been someone special for you to risk your life like that." He lifts his eyebrow. "I never said that it was a woman." I smiled. "You didn't have too your eyes said it all." He closed his eyes and laughed. "Well I see you as patched up as I am." He was still holding my hand. I smiled and then laughed. I got up. "Well I guess I should let you..." He grabbed my hand. "No please stay." I could see a look of fear in his eyes. "Are you sure, I can't stay here alone with the king." He smiled. "We've been spending time alone you and me remember?" I smiled and shook my head. "Ah my king you sure are persuasive." He smirks as I sit down. I couldn't help but smile. He grabbed my hand and our fingers interlocked. "So how did it feel to fight today?" I sighed. "Honestly I was scared out of my mind but seeing you the first time when that man cut you, it made something in me click and I just started to fight." He sighed. "I apologize for that." I shook my head. "No there's nothing to apologize for." He smiles and caresses my cheek. I start to cry. "What's wrong?" "It's just when they were hitting you my heart hurt." He started to dry my tears. "And when you pushed me away and I saw the man slash you and when they stabbed you in the shoulder I wanted to die." He caresses my cheek. "I couldn't bear losing you, I don't know why." He smiled at me and kept caressing my cheek. I smiled while still crying and he leaned in closer to me and kissed me. I was honestly shocked but I kissed him back then I pulled away. He backed away. "I'm so sorry." I smiled and I grabbed his head and I pushed him towards me. I planted my lips against his. I could feel him smiling as we were kissing. I loved feeling that. I didn't think that he felt that way towards me but his kisses were sweet yet passionate. After a couple of minutes kissing we let go and our foreheads touch as we were both gasping for air. "That was amazing." He said as he smiled. "I didn't think I could love anyone until I met you." When I heard those words I felt something weird inside me. I knew now that I was in love with him. I leaned next to him and he wrapped his arm around me. "I love you Emma." "And I love you your majesty." He smiled and kisses my head.
