You excused yourself from the room and made your own dinner downstairs. You didn't want your parents bothering you so you left a note on the door saying that you had a lot of homework. You opened your laptop and attempted to open up "Empty", but was met with a black screen. You waited for it to disappear and hoped that something else would happen but it didn't go away. It also didn't help knowing that they had to leave you for the sake of the game. Why couldn't I just enjoy this forever? Why do I have to go though this emotional stress?

It was eating you up on the inside but you knew it was the right thing to do. After all, you'd still have them on your computer screen..
You force closed the black screen and started it back up again. This time there was a single ray of light coming from the right, which you approached eagerly. It waited until you walked just in front of it to disappear to give you false hope. Cruel. You closed your laptop and sat back on the pillows roughly. The shimejis got on your stomach and gently sat down to comfort you.
"I-It'll be o-okay."
"My child, please do not look so glum."
"hey, kid it's ok. don't fret."
"Y/N! PLEASE SMILE YOU ARE HURTING THE GREAT PAPYRUS' HEART!"
"You've done all you could, darling.."
"Human, we appreciate the help."
"It's alright, punk. I didn't want to leave this human food either."

You smiled and forced back the tears that threatened to surface. You closed your eyes, laid back, and thought about some ideas. Suddenly and idea popped up and you sat up nearly making the poor monsters tumble off the bed. "Hey watch it!" Undyne growled at you while holding everyone else up with one hand. "O-oh, sorry. But wait, you guys did say that Sans fell through the screen of my computer right?" Sans scoffed. "i didn't fall. i was just testing gravity." He then winked at you while you rolled your eyes. "UGH NOT NOW BROTHER. BUT YES THAT IS CORRECT HUMAN."

"How did you fall through exactly, Sans?" "well after everyone ran to check out the town, i tried taking a shortcut and ended up on the floor. the portal was still open and everyone else just walked through too." "Though we landed more gracefully than you." Asgore added, getting a laugh from everyone else. (for the sake of the story not being 20+ chapters just roll with me on the next sentence pls.) You glanced out the window and was shocked at the similarity of the mountain next to your town. You picked up Alphys and had her examine it to make sure. "Are you positive that's the same mountain?" "100%"

"Then that's where we'll head to in the morning."
