You woke up at around 8:00 in the morning to give you enough time to scope out Mt. Mountain (i'm not creative, yes i know). You dressed in shorts, a long sleeved shirt and sturdy boots. You left your hair out since it was only Saturday and simply ran a comb through it. The shimejis were wide awake once you returned from the bathroom and were very anxious to leave for the mountain. You grabbed a small back pack and put them in gently, making sure not to close it in fear they'd suffocate. You then wrote a note telling your parents that you were going out with your friends. It helped that your parents weren't investigators.

You quickly opened the front door and sprinted towards the base of the mountain. It was about a 15 minute run and once you got to the base, you were exhausted. You leaned on a tree to catch your breath and made sure the shimejis were ok. You realized you forgot to pack any food or water, but then decided you wouldn't be gone for too long. You started up the base of the mountain and saw that it wasn't much of a challenge thanks to your boots. Once you reached the top, the warm sun hit your legs. You took a second to appreciate the moment until suddenly..
-crack-

The rock underneath you gave out and you were falling into the depths of the mountain. You attempted to land on your stomach and succeeded in getting the wind knocked out of you and your head was spinning. The shimejis tried called out your name but everything faded.

You opened your eyes and rubbed your head while groaning. "Y/N ARE YOU OK?" The shimejis looked terrified and concerned at the same time. "..yeah, yeah. I'm fine." "My child, I was so worried that you wouldn't wake up." Toriel looked close to tears as you brought them close into a big hug. "I'm fine, but what about you guys? Did I accidentally hurt you all?" "nah, the bag you kept us in was relatively soft." You sighed in relief, stood up on your feet, and put the monsters back into your bag. You then continued forward, passing an entrance that looked exactly like the one in Undertale. You already knew who was next so you peeked your head into the room cautiously with Toriel on your shoulder.

Flowey looked directly at you and smiled sweetly. "Howdy! You must be new to the Underground! Here, let me help you!" You approached him and dodged the friendliness pellets as usual. He dropped the friend act and attempted to kill you. Just as in the game, Toriel summoned a fire attack and knocked him away.

As you walked through, you noticed that the puzzles were already done for you. You could hear the shimejis sounding startled and worried. "Does this normally happen to you in the game, human?" Asgore sounded nervous. "Yes, every time you start it up." You stated bluntly. Toriel was glowing and looked very scared. It must be from the fact that this is where she is found in the game. You walked closer to her house and the light continued getting brighter and brighter. Everything was just as it was in the game: the pie, the chair, the bedrooms. You, of course, got a piece of pie for later.

You quickly went downstairs to where you'd normally fight her. She was glowing very bright and you could feel the she had gotten a bit heavier as well. You quickly placed her on the ground as she grew to her normal size and towered over you. She looked down at you and hugged you tightly. "Thank you my child, be careful and please be good." She opened the door for you and even the sadness of leaving her was as real as ever. You braced the snowy area while keeping Sans on your shoulder. He was glowing and Papyrus was glowing as well, though faintly.

The town was empty except for Monster Kid who was standing close to the Christmas tree in the middle of the small town. As you walked into Grillby's, Sans glowed brightly and you placed him down as well. He grew to your height and sat down at the bar, not caring that no one else was around. "see ya around, kiddo." Sans called out to you as you walked back out into Snowdin. You knew just where to go for Papyrus and entered into his house, which was already open. As you got to his room, you placed him on your shoulder. "Do you want to go on a date with me?" You asked while putting him on the floor. He blushed and glowed as he reached his normal height.

"WOWIE! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, ACCEPTS! COME BACK WHENEVER YOU'RE READY!" He waved goodbye and you rushed out the front door, smiling.

3 down, 4 to go.
