A Pocket Sized Adventure {Shimeji!Undertale x Reader}

Chapter 4

You were awoken by tiny voices chatting away and looked down to find the shimejis (I'm calling them this because technically they are.) wide awake. They glanced up at you when you tried to get up quietly, defeating the purpose. "Did you guys sleep well?" The monsters nodded and resumed talking. "hey kid, got any ketchup?" Sans had teleported back onto your shoulder and you almost tripped. "Uh, yeah I think so. I'll go get it, until I come back please stay out of trouble." "AYE AYE CAPTAIN!" Papyrus saluted.

You walked and closed the door back praying that no one would go inside. You could hear our parents in the kitchen as you walked down the stairs. Upon entering your mom asked about your day at school. "It was school." You muttered and dug into the refrigerator to get the bottle of ketchup and proceeded to leave. "What's the ketchup for?" You froze in place and tried to think of a good excuse. "Um, uh. You see I-" "Oh! Is it for your school play?" your dad raised an eyebrow and asked. "Mhm. Yes it is." "School play? I haven't hear-" "Yeah, Y/N just told me about it today." Your dad went right along with it while you snuck out.

You opened the door and found your room a complete mess and the monsters jumping on your bed, with the exception of Mettaton. You dropped the bottle of ketchup and looked in horror. "My child, I tried to tell them to stop." Toriel shot everyone a mean glance and carefully got off of the bed to walk next to you. "I will help you tidy up if I can make butterscotch pie!" After picking up and handing Sans the ketchup you agreed and everyone helped you clean up. Now how am I going to get Toriel into the kitchen without suspicion? (ha rhymes). "Y/N!!! We're going to the store to pick up some more groceries!" That's perfect timing. "Ok!!"

You heard the front door close and cautiously peeked down the stairs for any forms of life. You then carefully picked up all the shimejis and carried them downstairs. "WHOA WHAT COUNTRY ARE WE IN NOW Y/N?" "We're still in my house Paps." you held in a laugh and put them on the couch. "Well I'm sure you all know how to work a remote so find something nice to watch." You placed the remote down and they began jumping on the buttons. Toriel followed you into the kitchen and called out ingredients for the pie.

"Alright, my child. We need a cup of butterscotch, a cup of cinnamon, and a pie." You looked at her blankly. "What about the pie part, Tori?" "You don't have a premade pie to just stuff the ingredients in?" You shook your head and she let out a sigh. "Well then we need flour, butter, eggs, sugar, and dough."

~Time Skip~

2 slices of pie was all it took to fill up the shimejis and they fell asleep once again on the couch. You wrapped up the rest of the pie for your parents when they returned and called the tiny monsters back upstairs. Once you tucked them in the bed and glanced at the clock you saw that it read 5:40 P.M. Enough time to watch a couple Undertale YouTube videos. You didn't notice that one of the tiny monsters was actually awake.
