"No iyonna I'm okay" I said a tad bit angrily

"Well okay then. Only trying to help, See you later" she said giving me her house key and giving me a mild hug.

I told the teacher that I was sick so he let me go to the nurse. On the way to the nurse, kids were still in the hall way they were looking at me with scowls on their faces as if I did something to them. I hated the kids at my school they always had something to say about everything. The nurse let me sign myself out. Instead of calling a ride i just walked home i needed the air to think and regroup myself. I just don't know what to do, people and their constant comments about me and iyonna were kind of getting to me, badly.

As I thought silently to myself, I felt someone following me. I looked around to see if someone was, and there was this huge man. His Clothing Was Ragedy. He Had Holes In His Shirt And In His Pants Also. His Shoes We're Completely Worn Out. He Stood At Least 6'6, With Dark Eyes, Short Hair, Chapped Lips And Thick Eyebrows. He Had A Good Skin Tone, Kind Of Darkish. I Guessed He Was A Bum So I Just Continued Walking. As I Walked It Seemed As If He Was Still Following Me. I Knew Something Couldn't Be Right Because Where I Was Going People Like That Was Never Around There. So I Turned Around And Said "Aye Stop Following Me You Freaking Creep" Then I Began To Run, He Chased After Me. I Was Almost To Yonna's House So I Just Ran All The Way There. I Tried My Best To Open The Door. I Struggled, But I Finally Got It Open Though. It Was Too Late.

Before I Could Get Into The Door And Lock It I Was Being Forced Into The House And Having My Clothes Ripped Away From My Body. I Tried To Get Him Off Me. He Was Just To Big, I Squirmed And Screamed As Loud as Possible. I Guess That Was No Help Because I Was Still Laying Helplessly On The Floor Getting Violated. So After All The Screaming And Squirming, I Gave Up. I Just Laid There In Pain, Letting Him Shove His self Into Me. As I Laid There, I Said My Prays Just In Case I Died Today. I Had A Minor Flash Back About My Whole Entire Life, About The Good And The Bad Things. And This Only Made It Worse. After While, When He Was Finish He Started To Beat Me. I Laid There Hopelessly Too. I Didn't Have The Strength No Way To Defend Myself, After A Couple Of Hits, I Began To Drift Away.

I Had No Clue What Was Happening. All I Heard Was "Oh My God, Kai. Wake Up Please" I Felt Someone Lift Me Up And Move Me. As I Tried Opening My Eyes I Saw Iyonna, But it Was A Blur Because My Eyes Felt Swollen. "Kai, Babe Can You Hear Me, Are You Okay? What Happened? Who Did This?" I Heard And Felt Someone Wiggling Me A Bit, That Totally Made My Whole Body Ache In Pains. I Had No Clue What Was Going On. My Body Felt Stiff And Swollen All Over. When I Tried To Move My Left Arm It Sounded As If I Broke A Bone, It Felt Like It Also. My Eyes Started To Open A Bit More, I Could See More Clearer, The Blur Began To Fade Away. I Saw Iyonna In Tears, I Was Laying On Her Lap As We Sat On The Couch. She Was On The Phone. "Yes, I Need A Ambulance At My House, My Girlfriend Has Been Beaten To Death!" She Exclaimed. She Said Much More But I Couldn't Continue Following Her I Kept Drifting. "NO KAI, STAY AWAKE DO NOT FALL ASLEEP" I Jumped Up Out Of My Drift Quickly, It Made My Body Ache Even More. I Tried Talking To Iyonna But She Continuously Shushed Me. She Talked To Me To Keep Me From Drifting Until The Ambulance Arrived. When The Ambulance Arrived They Asked Iyonna Did She Know What Happened, But She Didn't. They Also Tried Asking Me, But I Couldn't Answer. My Mouth Wasn't Letting Me Form Words. My Jaws Hurt, I Could Tell They Were Broken. I Was Being Rushed To The Hospital For Being Beaten To Death, I Wonder If Anyone Had Noticed I Was Raped Also. I Do Believe Iyonna Walked In On Me Naked Or Maybe She Didn't.

On The Way To The Hospital, All The Bumps In The Road Made My Body Ache A Lot. There Was A Man And Woman Who Were Asking Continuous Questions, I Tried Answering But Only A Mutter Came Out, My Jaw Was Preventing Me From Talking. When we Arrived To The Hospital. They Put Some Needles In My Arm With Medicine In Them Which Eased The Extreme Pains From My Body, They Also Put Me To Sleep For At Least About 4 Hours. When I woke up, I saw my mother and Iyonna sitting in the two chairs across from my bed. My eyes had obviously gone down because I Could see a lot more. I Felt My Face With my right hand to see if I had any stitches, and I did. Some On My Face And One Above My Eye. I Also Noticed I Had A Cast On My Arm, The Left One. "Hey babes, you feeling any better?" Iyonna said getting out of the chair. I tried talking but my throat was so dry and salty. I pointed at my throat then at the water that was sitting on the window seal signalling my throat was dry. She poured me a cup of water while my mom just sat there shaking her head at me. I could tell she had been drinking, it was way obvious. She smelt of liquor and she looked the par, if you know what I mean. I drunk some water and began to clear my throat, my jaw didn't hurt as much either. "Is that better?" Iyonna said, I Cleared my throat one more time and said

"Yea, Im good. Why do I have these stitches?"

"Because, Your jaw was broken and so was your eye, what happend? I need to know who did this so we can tell the police and so I can kill this bastard who did this!"

"Well I Was walking home, and there was this bum following me, so I screamed at him and told him to stop Bu-"

"And Why in the hell would you do that for kai? I'm Sure You Aren't that dumb"

"What the fuck? Who Was Talking to you, Why are you even here? Shit it's bad enough I Have to deal with this man!"

"Well I am your parent so I have no choice, if I did I damn sure wouldn't be here."

"No disrespect, but ma'am she really doesn't need this stress" The doctor said entering the room "I over heard your conversation, and you really don't have to stay, but-"

"Oh thank God, I'll Be At Home, if you need me, call her dead beat father"

."Not A Dead Beat, He Just Doesn't Want You Any More"

"Yea because of you, all because of you"

"No, You Know What Mom It's Not Me He Doesn't Want, IT'S YOU IT'S NOT MY FAULT HE DOESN'T WANT A OLD HAG BITCH" I Exclaimed. I absolutely hate when she blames me for him leaving.

"Ladies, Listen it's No one's fault. Ma'am you can leave Just Make sure you leave her father's number. Or do you know it?" He Said Looking At Me. I Shook My Head In Verification. My Mom left the room in fury. Because she had bright skin, you could she her light pale face turn fiery red. I guess I looked the exact same way, because I skin tones were similar. I Just Hated How Much I resemblance her.

"Okay, Now That We're done with that ordeal, we've got your test results back. Only some of them Though. Now with Your arm you'll need to keep this cast on for a while. At least 4 to 7 weeks." He Said Putting My X-ray on the machine, showing me My broken bones. I Gasped And Sucked My Teeth At The Length Of Having To Keep The cast on. "And When You Come Back Next Week, Your Test Results For Any Brain Damages Will Be Back And Will Be Able To Take The other test for any possible diseases from blood transfusion. Okay?"

"Okay, But What Will Happen If I Have Any Of These Things?" I Asked Concerned

"Well Some Of The Diseases Are Treatable And Some Are Not. So Sorry To Say, but You'll Have To Live With It." I Sat There In Anger and pain. I Felt Guilty for myself, wanting guilt from others because I felt terribly awful. I began to cry, as iyonna placed my head into her chest comforting me. The doctor had left the room, so iyonna decided to get into bed with me.

"Listen iyonna, if you Don't wanna be with me anymore i totally understand." I said guilty

"Oh No No No, I'm In This With You No Matter What. I Don't Care. It's half way my fault your in this anyways"

"No, It Isn't. You Had Nothing To Do With This" She Hugged Me Tightly Into Her Arms. I Loved The Feeling Of Being Safe, In Her Arms. Things Wouldn't Be The Same Anymore And I Could Tell, Everything I Had Was Gone. It Was Gone. It's Gone, All Gone and I Can't do a thing about it. The doctor came back into the room giving me my release papers to go home. Iyonna Called Her Brother To Come Pick Us Up. And So He Did.
