Wow, I guess I'll somewhat be a parent in 6 months. I'm so very amazed by this...all of this. Back when I took her to the school kickback I would've never imagined us to end up like this..planning long term things. Planning a family with my 17 year old girlfriend was NEVER my intentions but I love this concept anyway. Soon we'll be in our own place, doing our own thing! I can't wait to go house searching. Which I know will be hard because Kai is definitely the most complicated at picking things out, and this is a whole house were talking about. We're on the way to Kai's doctor appointment, we might just be a little late. She's suppose to be there at 2:45 and its 2:30 and we have a while to go. We probably wouldn't be late if she didn't take so long on deciding what to wear, it's just the doctors and a lunch date....MAYBE.

"So babe, where are you taking me?" Kai asked
"To your doctors appointment...duuuh"
"C'mon you know what I mean, afterwards! For our lunch date" she said nudging me
"Aye now, if you want to make it to this doctors appointment in once piece I suggest you stop pushing me while I drive! BUT! I'm taking you where ever I want. You don't have to know everything, let's make things suspenseful for once"

"But I don't like surprises, you know that" she said sternly

"You see how I've been coming out of my shell a bit, you should try the same." I said with sarcastic annoyance

"I don't have a shell, I just have tendencies I like to stick to. That is all."

"Well maybe you should change them"

"My tendencies wouldn't be tendencies if I had intentions on changing them" she snapped back. "Now tell me!"

"NO! You will sit here, go to your doctors appointment and let me handle these things the way I want to, not the way you want to"

"Fine then" she said as she began to pout "Remember this moment please do, because I promise you'll wish you never said that"

"Oweee, is that a threat?" I said with sarcasm

"Nah not even, don't even worry 'bout it. Just drive." She said as she turned up the radio.

I shrugged my shoulders and continued to drive. I swear this girl must have everything her way or she'll black mail you to death. I think that rubbed off from my mom because she does the exact same thing and I will never understand why.

House hunting has really been on my mind though, I wanted to go for an apartment first but with the baby on the way we might as well go house. I didn't even know we could get a house at our age, but I guess with her dad vouching for us anything is possible. Maybe we should go for a 4 bedroom, 3 bath...big backyard for the baby, you know something roomy. I'll let Kai and my mom handle the decorations because....yea that's not my things. Haha, I like colors way too much and my house would be so spontaneous if it was up to me.

We pulled up to the doctors office a lil past 3:00. I got out the truck to help Kai get out but because she was still mad she pushed me away and hopped out herself. I even tried to grab her purse for her but nope she snatched it right out of my hand. "Ahh what am I gonna do with this girl." I thought to myself. Luckly the patient before us ended up staying a little longer so we weren't even late, the doctor called us in 10 minutes after we signed in.

"Hello Mrs. Haynes, how are you today? You look a little upset, everything okay" the doctor said as she sat down.

"Everything is just fine" she said as she forced a fake smile and gripped my hand really hard. "Just you know, ready for this process to speed up a bit"

"Wow, already? You're only 3 months in." the doctor said surprisingly "Most moms start getting that feel towards the end and this is just the very beginning" she began to prep the ultrasound machine.
