"And have the opportunity to be considered a loser!"

So, with a mic drop it was announced that night that Kanye Omari West would run for presidency in the year 2020. It was a big step for the family, and a big call too. Even though Kim was annoyed that she didn't know, she was supportive of Kanye's wishes - as long as it wasn't the dope speaking. Although when the speech finished, the thought of being the First Lady daunted her heavily.

Kanye wasn't concerned about campaigning, he hoped that his fame would do the trick. He had some mutual friends with Donald Trump who was also running in 2015, so even if Donald won in 2020 maybe Kanye could be vice president. Contrary to popular opinion, he assumed everyone would take him seriously. After all, a lot of people agreed with what he said in the speech. As long as he could appeal to "the kids" he thought he'd do well.

All he's ever wanted to do in his career was change people's opinons. Opinions on issues such as slavery, famine etc. Never in his life did he think becoming President was his revenue, but as soon as he mentioned that he "was no politician" he thought about it. And somewhere between the adrenaline the speech gave him, his improv skills and the weed he smoked, he thought he'd just spit it out. "In 2020 I'm running for president."

Gasps. He knew the audience didn't really believe him (and neither would the media), but he had a knack for proving people wrong.
