The first couple days at camp were pretty weird. There's no denying that. AJ was at camp for three days before Hades claimed her and she moved into his cabin. Nico was staying at Camp Half-Blood all the time now, so he would comfort her when she missed her mom. (You know he would, don't even deny it.) AJ trained a lot, trying to get her mind off home. She became very good with a sword, and she could even beat Percy Jackson in a duel.
One of the major problems AJ had was she would always get nightmares. It had been happening since she was a little baby. Her mom would always be there to dry her tears, but now she knew she could never go home. She could never put her mother back into danger. A week after she arrived a camp, AJ met Leo Valdez. A flirtatious boy, who just happened to become her best friend.
