Chapter 4: Hari ng Katorpihan a.k.a Zayn Drew Dela Vega

Zayn's POV

Hay, kakauwi lang galing from the States at inasikaso ang business ni Dad. My Dad has many projects so sometimes, I need to help him. Pero kakadating ko lang may bagong task na naman si Dad para sa akin.

*FlashBack*

"Hey Drew, how's the project?" si Dad talaga puro work ang nasa utak. Tsk Tsk.

"Fine. The clients signed the contract and the deal is settled." sabi ko.

"Wow. That's great, Drew. Thank You" si Dad.

"Yeah, No prob." paakyat na sana ako kasi nga meron pa rin akong jetlag nang nagsalita si Dad

"Want to join me drink some coffee? My treat." Dad "Just consider this as a Thank You gift and a time for us to bond and cope-up with each other." he said

Wait. Did my Dad just ask me to have some time with him? Well thats a first. Might as well take a shot.

"Sure. I'll just take a shower then change my clothes." 

"Okay, i'll be waiting in the car."

Pagkatapos ko maligo bumaba na ako at dumiretso na kami sa Starbucks.

"Good Afternoon Sir. What can I get you?" sabi ng Kuya Waiter.

"I'll take a Java Chip. Drew?" si Dad

"Make that two, please." Ako

"Two Java Chips. Anything else, Sir?" Kuya Waiter

" I think we're good, Thank you" si Dad

"Okay Sir" Kuya Waiter

Okay, there's two possible reasons why Dad want to talk with me. It's either he really meant what he said earlier or he'll just give me a new task or a project to do =______=

"Here's your order, Sir" Kuya Waiter

"Thank you." Sabi ko. Wala kasi akong line ehh xD At umalis na si Kuya waiter pagkatapos niyang ilapag ang Java Chip sa table namin. Hmmm! Yummy! 

"So Dad, what do you want to talk about?" tanong ko habang iniinom ang napaka-sarap na Starbucks sa harapan ko.

"Well, Do you still remember that university that I let your Ninong Chris manage?" Dad asked.

Paano ko ba naman makakalimutan yun ehh Dela Vega nga yung pangalan ng university na yun diba? =______= Ang bonakid minsan ng Dad ko ehh...

"Of course Dad." sagot ko.

"Good. Well I want you to study there and observe if your Ninong Chris is doing a good job in handling it. Can you do that, Drew?" Dad.

Halos masamid na ako sa pagkagulat. Paano na yung pagiging home-schooled ko? Oo, home schooled lang ako kasi nga diba, maraming projects blah blah... Hay, can't I just live a normal life?

"What?! How about MY education?" sabi ko nang malakas.

"The things that your private tutor teaches you is just like what the students like you is being studied about, so you can still cope up with their lessons and study just like them, am I right, Drew?" Dad.

I hate it when Dad's right. I don't have any choices and just accept it.  "Fine, i'll do it."

*EndOfFlashBack*

Hay. When can I live a normal life?

*Next Morning*

Gising gising mode kasi ito na ang first day ko sa Dela Vega University. Dad said i shouldn't be late kaya maaga akong nagising. I did my routine, after that, dumiretso na ako pababa para mag-breakfast.

"Good Morning." I said while getting a toasted bread and spreading some jelly on top of it.

"Good Morning Zayn" Mom greeted me and she kissed me on the cheeks. "Goodluck at your first day, Bunch" mom said

"Yeah. Thanks Mom. By the way, where's Zia?"

"She already left. She said she has some school projects to work on" sabi ni Dad.

"Oh, okay." sabi ko. "Arff! Arf! Arrr! Arf Arf Arf!" narinig ko sa likod ko. Si Browzers pala.

"Hey Browzers! Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?" kinakausap ko siya habang pine-pet ko yung ulo niya "Arf! Arf!" Oh-kay? halatang hindi kami nagkakaintindihan. I look at my watch.

"Hey Mom, Dad? I have to go." sabi ko sa kanila. "Bye Browzers!" sabi ko kay browzers.

"Geh, ingat ka anak, ha? Love You!" sabi ni Mom

'Love You Too, Mom." sabi ko "Love yah Dad" sabi ko kay Dad

"I love you too Drew. Goodluck."

"Thanks"

Umalis na ako papuntang university. May kalayuan din yung school kaya natagalan ako. Maya-maya din nakadating na ako. At eto ang bumungad sa akin.

"Kyah!! Ang pogi ng guy oh!

"Ang pogi niya, Gosh!"

"New hot guy nandito sa school, OMG!"

"He's so handsome!"

Well, sanay na ako dyan. pero dahil mabait ako, nginitian ko na lang sila at dumiretso na sa Principal's Office.

"Good Morning Ninong." greet ko pagkapasok ko.

"Oh My. Is that you Drew? You've really grown up!"

Ay hindi ako ito, si Papa P ako, si Papa P =____="

"Thank You po."

"Welcome. O sya, eto na yung schedule ng subjects nyo. Section A ka. May makikilala kang Veronica Autumn Lopez dyan. Siya ang magto-tour sayo dito sa campus."

Oo, totoo. Hindi ko kabisado ang mga lugar dito sa campus.

"Ahh, Sige po. Thank You po ulet."

"Geh Hijo."

Lumabas na ako ng office at pumunta sa Section A. Madali ko lang nahanap kasi may tumulong sa akin xD 

"Magandang Umaga sa inyo. Meron tayong bagong makakasama. Pwede ka bang magpakilala sa buong klase?" tanong nung Ma'am

"Opo Ma'am." pumasok na ako. "Good Morning everyone. Ako si Zayn Drew Dela Vega at sana matanggap niyo ako bilang kaibigan ninyo dito." Nag-smile ako. 

Hay, panibagong adventure nanaman itong papasukan ko. Kaya mo yan Zayn! Fighting!

May isang babae akong nakita na naka-smile sa akin, parang siya ata si Veronica.

"Welcome ka dito Zayn. Umupo ka na sa tabi ni Ms. Lopez" sabi ni Ma'am

"Salamat po." sabi ko na nga ba siya si Autumn ehh. Sa smile pa lang kasi niya, nakaka-inlove na. Hala, nagiging active na yung sweet side ko! Well, okay lang. Maganda naman si Autumn ehh.

Lumapit na ako at umupo sa tabi ni Autumn. "Hi! Ako nga pala si Autumn. Welcome sa Section A" sabi niya habang naka-smile. 

"Hi! Ako si Zayn. And Thank you nga pala" I smiled at her.

"Your welcome." She smiled back
