- Four Months Later -
JAILYN
"Oh my God!"I gasped as I made out the small figure on the screen. Seeing my child for the first time was...Breath taking. I was in awe. I mean, I knew I was pregnant, But actually seeing the baby...
There aren't any words to describe the feeling."Is is a boy or a girl?"Alizae ( Lisa's daughter ) asked as she sat next to her mother.
"Well, We're going to have to wait a few weeks for a definite gender...BUT...From my expirience, I personally think it's going to be a boy. I MAY be wrong, But..."My doctor spoke, Glancing from me to the screen.
"Why do you say that?"Lisa asked curiously.
"B'cause, Usually, Boys lay toward the left side of the womb, That's why most boys are Momma's boys b'cause they were so close to the heart"She explained, Smiling. Lisa nodded, Accepting the information, She's only been pregnant with a girl, So she doesn't really know too much...
"So that means I get a cousin?"Zae questioned, Glancing up from her cellular devise.
"You was already gettin' a cousin, It's just a boy"Lisa corrected her daughter, She playfully rolled her eyes.
"What do you think about that?"Lisa asked, Directing her attention to me. "You think he'll look like'is Daddy?"She asked. I shrugged.
Speaking of his Father, Sammy and I haven't talked since I left. He has my number, He could've called or texted at ANY point, He's choosing. Just like i'm going to choose who his son is affiliated with as he grows up. I don't feel the need to inform him on the development of his child. If he wanted to be here, He would be. I'm not going to beg him to be here. I've gone through the first four months of my pregnancy without him, I think I can make it five more. Lisa is everything. I've been staying with her, I finally finished highschool too. It's crazy how one event can literally change every aspect of your life. That's partially why i'm not worried about my child having a Father. If he's got a supportive Mother, That's all he needs.
SAMMY
It's been a while since I seen or heard from Jailyn. Yeah I miss her, But what do I look like acting all thirsty. I'm trying to focus on my career, So I can support my child. I'm not gonna deny her baby, I ain't even gonna front, Jailyn and I were together, We created a child, To think, One mistake ruined everything. I'm a man, I'ma own up. I've tried to keep up, But there's only so much that you can get off of instagram and twitter. What am I suppose to do? Go talk to her? And risk getting stabbed by her crazy cousin? Nah...I'll pass. Will I be involved in my child's life? As much as I can. Will Jailyn and I ever be together again? Only time will tell.
JAILYN
"What about Samiya?"I asked as Alizae and I sat on the couch in the living room.
"I thought the doctor said it was a boy?"-
"The doctor could be wrong"I spoke, Playfully mean-mugging her. I perked up as I felt slight movement in my abdomen. I placed my hand on the area of my belly, Feeling the movement, I gasped.
"What?"Alizae questioned, Looking up from her phone.
"C'mere"I spoke, Motioning for her to scoot over to me. "Give me your hand"I said, She looked a little
iffy about my intentions. She hesitantly gave me her hand. I gently laid it where I felt the moving. She squealed as she pulled her hand away."Eww!"She exclaimed, Squirming. "That was weird"She added. I can't even describe how dumb she looked. I couldn't do anything except laugh at her awkwardness. Just as I was going to say something to her, There was a knock at the door, Both of us looked toward the door...
SAMMY
The door slowly opened, Revealing a little girl, Okay she was probably thirteen or fourteen. She looked curiously at me as I stood. Her lips curved into a smile...I knew it was coming.
"Oh my god! You're Trill Sammy!"She exclaimed, Cheesing hard. I licked my lips as I looked down, I nodded yes. "Jailyn! Trill Sammy is at my door!"She announced, Turning away from me. So she is here. I was just praying Lisa wasn't here.
"What are you talkin' about?"Jai's voice asked as she approached the door.
"Zae, Close the door"She commanded. I held my tongue, I knew what I was coming into.
"I jus' wanna talk t'you"I spoke up. I knew she didn't want to hear it, But I needed to get it out.
