"Well, would you ever take him back?" Logan asks, fearing the answer that's yet to come. He bites his bottom lip, tugging at it every few seconds.

"Logan, I-"

Hmm, would I ever take my rapist back? The man who destroyed me physically and mentally, not caring how bad it effected anyone else? He became nothing but a monster to me. Some selfish, ignorant idiot. I don't even know who I am anymore. He's taken my trust and abused it down to the bone. So to answer your question, Logan, it'd be a no. I like you, add those calculations up genius.

"No," I tell him. "No, I would not."

He smirks fully. "Well then, maybe, I was just wondering if you would-"

"Sorry to interrupt, Mr. Henderson, but visiting hours are over," a new, younger, snottier nurse says. "I'll lead you out."

She takes my arm and drags me off to the elevators, throwing me in and pushing the buttons down. I take a glance at her name tag. Sasha. I sigh, she's beautiful and obviously has a thing for Logan. She would be his nurse, too.

When I get home, James, once again, is there to greet me at the door. Now he is accompanied by the short Latino boy, taking a bite out of his corn dog.

"Yo, was goin' on!" Carlos yells, vibrating the house.

"Down town," I wink to him.

He simpers. "Back around!"

He scurries off into the game room, shoving James out of the way. He laughs, pulling me into a tight, but comfortable embrace. I smile lightly, finding my way into the kitchen and sitting onto the marble counter. James sits on the opposite side, like he wants to say something but nothing lets loose from his mouth.

"What's wrong, Jamie?" I ask him, sensing something's wrong.

"Ahh, same old, same old."

"I hope you know I have no idea what that means. But I do know something is wrong, so spill it!"

"FIne. I took a girl home last night. Believe me, at first she meant nothing to me, she was just a part with all the other girls. But then I woke up this morning and took one really hard look at her. She was just special. Her fiery red hair laid straightly across her back in choppy layers. Oh God, her eyes- her eyes were a bright shade of emerald green, I could honestly see my future in them," he smiles satisied to himself.

"Go on," I encourage him, sending him a thoughtful glare.

"A straight nose, full lips - she seemed the picture of perfection. My picture of perfection," James says, before looking down at his lap. "But then I let her get away."

"James David Maslow, is that any way to talk to yourself like that? You will find this girl, even if it kills me. I've never seen you take an actual intrest in a girl that you don't use, let alone see a future with her. Go grab your hair gel, we're going on a trip."

James' smile was warm like the first breath of spring after a cold winter, brighter than the summer sun. He quickly gathers up his items, throwing them sloppily into the car. James has packed way to many things to see a girl that'll probably fall head over heels for him, but whatever makes him confident is fine with me.

"I found her on a web page. I know her name is Ariana Bently, she's twenty two, and according to this paper," James says, flattening out the map. "She lives ten minutes away!"

"Well, what're you waiting for? Let's go get your girly tomorrow!"

~.~

I sit and watch as James knocks on Ariana's door. It was safe to say he was nervous, and I was nervous for him! His whole future was held in this girls hand. After three minutes of waiting, the same girl James described so well answers the door. James sends me the look with a thumbs up, and I know exactly what he meant by it. Their converastion only lasts about ten minutes, never once moving in their spot. He heads down the stairs, whipping his hair to one side and wrapping his scarf around his neck.

"Well?" I ask a little too eargily, although I can't help it. I'm so happy for him.

"Take me to see Logan," he demands.

"A-hem!" I say scoffing. Ain't nobody gonna talk to me like that.

He mumbles a quiet 'please' as I drive off to the hospital. Truthfully, I couldn't wait to see Logan, but I really wanted to know what happened with James and that girl. All he gave me was 'fine', and wouldn't talk about it again. I knew for sure Logan would tell me whatever James wil tell him, he always does.

"Logan! What's up, buddy?" James shouts, having the whole hospital turn their heads in question.

"Aye, James. Missed ya, dude."

"Can I talk to you for a sec, alone?" he asks, tilting his head towards me repeatedly. I roll my dark eyes at him. I'm the one who took him, I could at least get a say on what's going on!

[Two months later]

I exit the waiting room, heading towards Kendall's floor. I had to visit him. I honestly missed him so much. He would always cheer me up in these sad situations, his positive attitude always rubbing off on me. I walk over to his bed, gripping his hand in mine. He looked so innocent sleeping, like he never would  harm anyone. I talked to him over and over again, of course he couldn't hear me, but I didn't care at this point.  I needed his best friend advice, but unfortunately he isn't best friend anymore, he wasn't even close to it. I just needed to be around him, to feel him there. Even if he wasn't there, I could still sense he knew what was going on.

I knew I shouldn't of done what I just did, but I couldn't help it. I needed to feel his warm lips on mine one more time. It sent sparks throughout my body and adrenaline through my veins, instantly giving me goosbumps up and down my legs. It shouldn't have though; he hurt me so damn much so why do I want him so bad?
