[Areum's POV] Day 3/21
I pondered hard as I buttoned up the buttons of my school uniform.
Joshua's words rang in my head once again. Do you really want Mingyu to bring Eun Ah to the Land of the Dead?
Do I want that? I asked myself. When I mentioned that suggestion at Joshua's house yesterday, I was extremely flabbergasted, and so was Joshua. We are still shocked by the words that slipped off my tongue yesterday. I didn't know that a pure, innocent girl like me would come up with such a horrible, frightening, sinister idea.
"Areum! I'll bring you to school!" Eun Ah capered to me as she slams open the door with a big bright smile.
I narrowed my eyes a little at the sight of my stepsister treating me with care. Yes, with care. She leaped forward, zipping my bag open as she gently sets a lunch box in it. Then, she pulled the zipper, zipping my bag close and pulled it over her shoulder like it was a sack of potatoes.
"Let's go." She spoke and trotted out of my room in a cool way. I let her be, took hold of the pocket watch Joshua gave me, then following behind her noiselessly.
