[Areum's POV]

Weirdly, I was enjoying this intimate moment. I was lost in his touch. I felt titillated. I didn't want to stop.

His huge hands under my top caressed my waist as he pulled me towards him, our covered chests in contact. I, on top of him, had my hands on his cheeks, deepening the kiss. I felt his teeth bite into my lower lip and I knew his tongue was aching to explore my mouth. I parted my lips and I soon felt his tongue coming into contact with mine. Moving from my waist, his hands shifted upwards to play with my bra strap. The cold air hit my exposed back as he did so.

He rolled over, now hovering above me. His lips left mine and we were left breathing heavily. His orbs stared at my lips lustfully before glancing at my eyes.

I held his gaze, until his touch left my skin and adjusted his position so that his face was in between my thighs.

The ardour in his eyes was evident. I was galvanized at the thought of what his next move was, until I noticed the tall figure behind him.

The eyes of the figure fiercely stared at mine, never once looking away.

I jolted in shock and reacted immediately, rolling off the bed, at the same time, trying to avoid hitting Joshua. I landed on the floor groaning as the pain struck my back. I breathed and sat up, exclaiming the name of the person I didn't want to see.

Joshua stood up on his feet and turned around with a countenance that showed panic while adjusting his clothes. But perplexity took over him when he saw no one.

"What are you talking about? Mingyu isn't here at all." Joshua's eyes looked back at me after searching the room.

My lips parted in disbelief. "No. I clearly saw him behind you. And he still is! Look!" My arm stopped in mid-air as I pointed at Mingyu.

Joshua turned around and craned his neck left, right, then left again, examining around as if Mingyu wasn't there at all.

I could see the worry in his eyes when he fixed his gaze on me. "How... He was right behind you! How could you not see him?" I stuttered a little. I moved backwards so that I was leaning against the wall.

Wanting to get one more glance of the demon, my orbs moved, but saw nothing instead.

My mouth opened to say something, but nothing came out except a sigh.

"Are you alright, babe?" He crouched down next to me, his hands reaching towards my face.

Was I hallucinating?

I panted.

"It's just you and I here." His voice trailed off into a whisper as he softly stroked my cheeks. And he leaned in close to my face in an attempt to start up a fire again.

"No, no. Please... Not now... I'm sorry." I stood up, startling Joshua, tousling my hair in frustration as I walked out of the room.

[Joshua's POV]

Spending my time with the one I desired most, it was extremely rapturous. It had been a few days since I brought her in and I loved the way she mollycoddled me. She would spoil me with hugs, kisses, and amatory moments. Euphoria filled me up whenever she came into sight. Yet something kept bothering me.
