A Luna's Destiny

Chapter 1

Once I'm safe in my den I shift from my golden wolf form to my long black curly hair that cascaded to my waist human form. my golden eyes remained as my blood red lips curled back in a smile peering my white Canines. I quickly threw on my baggy black long shirt and jeans and sat down on a mattress that I had laid in the corner of my den/cave like place, I had found it in the woods... I know it's unusual right ? .... I grabbed my book and began reading it. it was night time now and light didn't shine threw the den entrance anymore so I took my clothes off and shifted to wolf form.

I quietly left my den to go find a lurking deer Hurd or just a deer when I smelt an addictive smell. I sniffed the air to get a better wiff of it. I drooled at the seductive, sweet smell as I stalked threw the weeds toward it.

I came to a harsh stop when I seen 5 wolfs prancing around. I seen one of the wolfs, the largest of all sniffing the air. Shoot! the alpha of this territory is on patrol, I wanted to dash but then the sweet, tangy smell came back. it was coming from there direction. I'm glad my gold coat blends with the rusty brown color of weeds. I closed my eyes taking In one last smell before hunching down low and walking backwards.

little did I know... a flock of birds where on the ground in search of food and once I hit there spot they took flight making the wolfs snap there heads toward me. Damn!! this is not good , they came prancing over here and without thinking I dashed at full speed ahead to try and reach my den but shapes loomed beside and behind me . don't panic, don't panic, before I knew it.. just like that I was slammed to the floor with a snarling silver colored wolf... I whimpered as I tossed him off me. we growled a each other when I then realized.. he was the scent I smelt.

I saw him sniff and his eyes widened. is this possibly my... no it can't be he's obviously an alpha. are growls died as we starred at each other puzzled, he ran behind a tree an shifted to human form and came back with jeans on. only jeans. I starred at the handsome sight. he was well fit, tan, a 8 pack , black hair, golden eyes. I was about to drool when a shirt landed on my snout. " Go shift " he said, without out arguing I went behind a tree and shifted and came back with the large shirt on that hung till about knee level. I kept my head down and my hands behind my back so he wouldn't see whip mark scars. " what's your name" he said softly walking towards me. "Blaze" I said with a shakey quiet voice. last thing I wanted to do was provoke an alpha. Next thing I new I was In his arms. a bit puzzled I layed my head on his chest taking in his sent. It was so amazing, but of course my wolf had to but in 'what the hell are you doing !!! Run get out of here !!!' she growled in my head .. ' I can't he'll either follow, torture, or kill us ' I growled back and she stayed silent. he put his finger under my chin and lifted me face up to meet his eyes . they were golden like mine. are eyes locked and they grew blindingly bright for a moment and are eyes both died down to the normal dull golden color. He picked me up in his arms and twirled me making me giggle a bit. "I can't believe I finally found you" he said setting me down. I was confused for a moment before asking " what do you mean". he chuckled " blaze, dear, your my mate "

That's when I stopped breathing...
