Chapter 24

Blaze's P.O.V

I woke up kissing Colin's forehead and headed to the closet to put on black pj bottoms and a black spaghetti strap. I went down stairs and started making coffee, it was about 7:40 in the morning I thought I would wake up a little early. I grabbed a mug and poured myself some coffee, I decided to go into the backyard to just reflect on what's happened since the appearance of Daxis, haven't seen the bastard since that night at Blake's pack house.

Well I have good and bad news, when I say bad I mean really bad.. Well let's start off with the bad news, Me and Colin decided that we wanted to have child of are own.. I went to rose to tell her the news and she offered to do some test on me and I agreed, it turns out My body is physically not strong enough to have a baby. I know it's a shocker, I cried for a week or two over this. But the good news now woohoo right ? Well me and Colin decided to adopt a kid.. not a regular kid a wolf one don't worry, her name is Fey she's 14 years old right now. She's so wonderful and charming to be around, she lost her mom recently and her dad passed away when she was three, she has beautiful light brown hair that is kind of long but not to her waist long and hazel mixed with blue eyes, I must say as a mom, she is very well fit... she likes to work out and train in the exercise room, she has light tan skin.

Fey is a strong individual, but she has a slight issue, she has panic attacks sometimes when she feels unsafe or she feels pressured. but other than that she's quiet amazing and talented. and Colin has been ya know taking care of alpha business in fact.. today me and Colin are hosting a game with the pack teenagers which Fey herself will be in, the games much like hide and seek but we changed the name to "Hunter and prey".

Basically we will divide a group of kids into 2 groups, one group will be the prey and the others will be hunters so I should probably go get ready for that.

A group of kids were out side prepped and ready to go, fey got put in the hunter category which isn't that bad she's good on two feet. As kids made there way back from the weapon room, don't worry there not real weapons like for instance if you had a bow it had foam arrows but thick foam so it could glide threw the air like an original one. Fey came back out wearing black leather pants with knee high black boots, she wore a leather vest with a black long sleeve underneath, she chose the bow and foam arrows as her weapon which was good and she had a thick foam dagger on her side.

Me, Colin, Shay, Sam, and Kara would be roaming around helping the wolves get away from hunters. It's 10:43 now and the clocks counting down, the wolves shifted and ran off to there hiding spaces, there were 15 wolves total and there's 15 hunters. the clock was counting down its last seconds as me and Colin shifted with Sam, Kara, and shay following. we dashed off as I looked back winking at fey as she set an arrow looking a little nervous 'you got this hunny, use your techniques and be careful' I told her in the mind link and she nodded as I vanished into the woods.


Fey's P.O.V


I nodded at my mom as she went into the woods, I looked back at the clock as I got in my ready stance listening to the last ticks as I counted down with it to. I slowly tied my straight hair into a high pony tail

I looked at my pack mates an nodded at them as they got in a ready stance, I was voted leader of the hunters so I already gave them brief instructions an told them to tell me when they got someone down.

As the loud noise sounded I took off into the woods running for a bit but then slowed my pace so the wolves couldn't hear me coming. I closed my eyes sending all my concentration to my ears. About 2 minutes later I heard a flock of birds take flight a couple feet ahead of me. I silently made my way to we're the birds flew away from, I went behind a tree as I looked over a little I seen a silver wolf, Dad, I gulped as I went back behind the tree. I set an arrow and pulled the string back as I quickly came out from behind the tree taking my dad by shock I held my breath, letting go of the string the arrow hit my dad in the side.

My dad started running at me snarling as he leaped at me tackling me down, even though this is a game I can't kill my dad.. my best bet is to run. I gripped my dads snapping jaws closed as I have all my strength in pushing him he flew back, I took that as an advantage taking off dodging fallen trees and thorn bushes.
