Chapter 4

( sorry but Blazes P.O.V )



Me and jade went running in the woods for what seems like forever but was really only a few hours. it was probably 2:00 in the morning when we decided to take a break at a clearing that had a pond. we drank from it and then laid down. 'so what's it like, you know ... the feeling of having a mate what's it feel like?' Her question merged in my mind as she laid her head on her paws starring at the moon. 'I don't really know, me and Colin don't really have a strong bond yet but when he's with me I feel safer and his scent becomes an addiction of mine.' I reply, I can't believe jade doesn't have a mate yet 'how did you find him' she asked cutting my train of thought off. 'he had this beautiful addictive sweet smell that drew me toward him' I replied again. when she didn't reply I knew she was in pain never thinking she'll find a mate, but one day that day will come.

I laid my head on my paws closing my eyes to rest but they snapped open as I heard jade growl so deep I thought she was gunna explode. her head snapped up as the tested the air. 'what is it ..' I asked when she got up still growling as her fur stood up on her back. ' Rogues.. a bunch of rogues .. All from the same pack..' she said in my mind growling. I quickly got up and looked around trying to look for the rogues. 'how many are there jade. ?' I asked warily. 'to much for us to hold off, about 15 to be exact' she said as her tone seemed a bit panicked but remained calm. I turned around to run when I seen jade get slammed to the ground. I heard her whimper as a brown wolf bit into her side. I slammed my head into the wolf making it fall off her as she jumped to her feet and stood next to me.


Wolves merged from the shadows of the forest into a circle around us there was only 14 in front of us.. where was the last one... then I saw it... a unnaturally big black wolf came stalking over growling. 'Blaze listen to me, I need you to run back to the pack house get to Colin and get safe. I don't know what pack these are from but that's an alpha right there. now GO!' as soon as she said go I seen her leap at the big wolf biting into his fore-arm and a couple wolfs broke from the circle to attack making a clearing for me to run but I didn't . I could not watch jade die like this. I closed my eyes relaxing a bit and when they shot open my fur went a bright gold as I growled an howled at the same time making the ground rumble a bit. i hoped it was loud enough for my mates pack to hear, I wasn't bonded enough to be in the mind link yet. The wolfs stopped in shock as there eyes fell upon my coat that shimmered golden. "forget the attack grab her and let's go" the alpha wolf said as he walked over jades limp body making his way over to me when suddenly a wolf leaped over me and stood infront of me in a protective stance, Colin. his silver coat began to glow as mine already was. "over my dead body" he growled. "that can be arranged" the other alpha laughed tauntingly as his wolfs took into a battle stance. Colin growled as wolves from our pack came dashing in one by one behind there alpha. we out numbered the other alpha by a lot. I grinned a wolfish smile as I came to Colin's side. "leave, now before you don't have a choice" Colin said with such power in his voice. As the wolves that stood next to there big alpha whimpered and dashed away the alpha growled and turned his sight to me. " she doesn't know does she, who she is, who she will become, what you both will become" the alpha growled slowly looking me up and down. Colin's growl died a he side glanced at me a bit cautiously. the alpha laughed tauntingly again "I think you should tell her, cause when she loses that pretty golden color , that's when you will need me" the wolf growled slowly backing into the woods and took off...

Hello guys (: sorry I stopped right there with a little cliff hanger hah... but next chapter will be super good I hope so keep those fingers crossed and be prepared for a breath taking chapter.
