Chapter 28

FEYS P.O.V


My eyes flashed open and I felt the restraints around my wrists and ankles, I gave up on trying to break free and turned my head examining the room "fey.." I heard and growled at the voice "Daxis were in a bit of a fuss, I'm tied down" I spoke quietly, I heard a growl in the ear piece hidden in my ear and smirked "aright, grow out your claws" I was gonna argue but I'm running out of time so I did what he asked "now slide your hand back as far as you can out of the restrainers" I did and almost got my hand out "now try and slice threw the rest of the way" I nodded to myself and put my claws to the restraint and dug my nails down in it and pulled back slicing threw some of it, I repeated until I got one hand free I squealed in happiness as I quickly sliced off the rest and jumped off the bed my eyes burned but I rubbed them.

I quickly ran to the door struggling to open the door, i growled again and i could feel my canines growing out "Daxis this isn't working! no matter what im trapped" i said in a more of yell whisper this is irritating and its making me mad, annoyed, irked, enraged.. and so much more definitions of mad! i need to do what i have to and i cant do it because im constatly chained up. My lifes on the line and im stuck in here, i needa do what daxis wants then secretly decieve him, i need to save blaze but at the same time try and save me, i need to reject Shay but all i want is him.. Moon goddess i've been threw so much why now, why do this to me now.

all i ever wanted was to be happy and i only got it for a quick moment. nothing more. Thinking about all of this makes me want to be gone for good, to just not fight for my life but let go, theres so much to save but so much more to lose, i'd never be able to marry Shay.. never be able to give him the gift of a child.. never get to watch his face light up when i say i do, ill never get to make this pack stronger and stand by blaze and colin because everything i try and do is just another mess up, Had i never brought Shay to Paradise falls i would never be this wolf and i would never have put Blaze at such a risk.. the pack that wants her is the most powerful i've ever seen they have things that can destroy wolfs in seconds They are like there own killers! and i just cant prossess why they follow Daxis.. why they would want to be the monsters they made themselves out to be.

at that thought i gripped the door knob and pulled back as it broke off, i kicked the hole where the door knob use to be and i broke off the lock and opened the door, i cursed and quickly closed the door when i seen rose slowly walking back to the room writing something on her clipboard. "Daxis rose is coming what do i do!!" i paniced and froze up at his words "Knock her out" i was about to yell at him when rose gasped when she seen the door knob missing, she opened the door and i hid behind it "Fey.. are you in here?" she stood right there her back to me... Rose i am so so sorry.

I leaped at her and she turned right when i tackled her down to the ground "FEY" she yelled but i put my hand over her mouth "Rose im sorry" i squintched my eyes shut and pulled my arm back before bringing my fist down on her head and let go when i felt her not moving and pass out. i got up and walked out of the door, i shifted into my wolf and crouched low looking left then right seeing no one, i started sprinting down the hall but dragged my paws leaning back as i came to a halt when i seen Jade come running around the corner, i quickly ran and smashed threw a door into a room and waited till i heard her pass by.. i should have known she would have felt some pain when i hit rose.

I quickly swooped back out and kept running till i got to my room, i got dressed in black leather pants and a black long sleeve and threw on my boots tieing up my hair "Daxis... Daxis what am i suppose to do now" i hear heavy breathing before he replied "Don't get caught but i want you to follow blaze.. track her moves and report them to me.. i want to know what they are practicing and following then when Blaze is alone i want you to take her into a room where your alone and tell her the plan of attack that i am going to be telling you at that time. Once she agrees i want you to go to colin and give him a different attack, i want you to tell him that if he doesn't keep blaze locked up the day of the battle i'll take her heart instead of yours" He finished and i was gripping the counter tightly at the mentioning of my death "Roger that" i said before walking out of my room and stumbling back in when i seen Rose and jade coming my way. "Shit, Daxis rose and jade are coming what do i do!" i cursed under my breath looking around franticly "Damn it, you have to get them both down and keep them hidden in your room unconsious" "WHAT NO, no i will not do that" i argued and before he could argue back jade came smashing in and i froze up at her angry expression.

she came at me and lifted her arm back but i whipped in a circular motion extending my leg as it kicked her in the ribs sending her falling down. i looked up and seen rose coming at me, i reacted by grabbing her arms and crossing them over eachother, i turned so my back was facing her and flipped her over my back as she slammed onto the floor "LISTEN TO ME, STOP LET ME EXPLAIN" i shouted when the both jumped to there feet growling at me "LISTEN IM TRYING TO SAVE BLAZE JUST LISTEN SHES IN DANGER" i shouted and they instantly backed down "what?" jade replied catching her breath "listen i need to get to colin Daxis is g-" "Daxis" Jade growled threw clenched teeth "He's been out to get her for 2 months now, what does he want?" she asked and i cleared my throat awkwardly.

"her heart.." i said plainly not suger coating it.

"I need to get to Colin to tell him a plan to keep her safe, since im a golden wolf now he can take my heart instead" They both gasped and looked at me like i just walked on water or something. "I need your guys is help when i signal to you to keep Blaze away form Colin alright?.. please this is to keep your luna safe.. our luna and possibly our whole pack" they took a couple seconds and then complied with a nodding of the head till rose suddenly asked a question i hadn't prepared for "why are you doing this?" her scared shakey voiced asked, i turned on my heel to face them directly looking at rose.

"Because i'm the ultimate sacrafice" i nodded leaving the room expecting them to follow the order when i signal them.

I was downstairs now and I was walking out in the open I froze up when I seen shay and Ethan along with Sam talking.. damn it shay please don't smell my scent. I backed up slowly to the staircase till I seen shay come around the corner "there you are! are you okay?" he asked and I nodded biting my bottom lip when he came up to me and wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his head in the crook of my neck breathing in my scent. I felt like the world was lifted off my shoulders being wrapped in his arms, I sighed contently running my fingers threw his hair "I am now" I closed my eyes inhaling his scent smiling "how's your side" he asked pulling back to look at me "all better doesn't hurt a bit" I smiled at his eyes feeling with love as he looked into mine.

He leaned forward pressing his lips softly to mine and after a few seconds I parted my lips kissing him slowly, it wasn't a forced on or hard kiss it was just a innocent passionate kiss, I smiled pulling back to look into his eyes again "well I could get use to that" i teased and he smirked kissing my forehead and twining his fingers with mine. just when I thought this happiness couldn't end it did... "fey what are you doing, you have business to take care of get to it" Daxis growled at me and I complied frowning at shay who place a hand on my cheek and I leaned into his hand "hey I need to go get something from my room ill be right back" I said my eyes tearing up and I had to bite my bottom lip to stop them from crawling out of my eyes and nodded and as soon as I turned to face the stairs they came crashing down.

I ran into my room an began just sobbing, I walked around in circles in my room not able to stop the tears.. I loved shay so much and I can't leave him but I have to "fey come on get a move on" Daxis said firmly and I paused tears still streaming down "just give me a damn moment, you don't care about anyone but yourself you selfish bastard I love him don't you get that, I've suffered years with out my parents, I had to go threw high school alone and I still am I never had help from a mother like I need now I'm so Lost I can't think straight I'm blinded by love and your blinded by power just give me a damn moment" I said choking on my sobs and I heard a sigh "I know how it feels to love someone so much it hurts fey, my mate was taken from me and I know she is still alive because I can feel the pain of her being beat, when I get the power of your wolf ill be able to find her, your not only saving your pack and blaze, but your saving my mate... when your ready to get back on the mission just tell me" he finished and I dropped myself in my bed silently letting the tears fall. there is nothing I can do anymore. I'm done for.

After few minutes of collecting my self I walked to the training room and watched wolfs sparring each other with Colin and Blaze stopping at the groups and helping them with technics
I cracked a small smile "they're just working on fighting technics" I walked away going to the backyard and into the woods "okay Daxis I'm here let's talk" I said and he came from behind a tree grinning "what did you call me here for"
"I want you to reconsider, if I help you find your mate will you just let me live and leave us alone, please Daxis I am begging you I vow to you that whenever you need help are pack will commute to you please please" his face was soft but I couldn't read his expression, I seem tears forming in his eyes by he closed then looking away as his hands were in his pockets, I walked up to be face to face with him "please daxis" I placed a hand on his chest feeling his heart beat and then picked up his hand putting it on my chest so he could feel my heart beat "you feel that" are heart beats where at the same slow beating pulse and his eyes were looking a his hand on my chest "are hearts are both in pain, longing to be with our loved ones.. Now imagine if your mate was taken. the pulse your heart would beat at would be so low from pain of loss and eventually you would die.. imagine that being your mate how would you feel, tell me what would your mate want you to do!" I asked and I seen his eyes tearing as he began to cry silently.

I hesitated before pulling him into a hug as he cried silently "we would make a good team just hear me out" I could see clearly what he was going threw, he had to be strong in front of his pack so they wouldn't try and over throw him but he has no one there for him because the fear he places in someone's heart but he longs for a friend to be there for him, he's probably struggling to keep it together when he feels the pain of his mate.

He pulled back and stood tall flexing as he narrowed his eyes "I can be there for you Daxis all you need is a companion on this journey to your mate, I know you can't do this alone and you know that. it would feel better to have someone by your side then to Stand alone emotionally. please" I pleaded one more time and I filled with joy when he nodded "I will talk to my pack about this. now keep the ear piece in okay until I call for you to meet up again" I nodded hugging him and going to walk away but paused "and Daxis..." he looked up at me "I'm here for you" I seen the slightest smile before turning and walking away.

I got to the house seeing Blaze and I froze up "Daxis is my mission still on blaze is right here, alone" I heard a growl and the ear piece being pick up "No, hold off for now.. just go about your day like its a normal one.. don't worry i'll only check in with you okay, take out the earpiece if you want your free for the day" I smiled and threw my fist in the air "Roger that, i'm taking it out alright? ill catch you later Daxis" i said before taking out the irritating small device from my ear and putting it in my pocket. I walked to the back door where i seen colin and blaze talking while sipping on what ever drink they had chosen.

I walked past them getting to the door only to hear a low growl and a smack, probably blaze smacking Colin on the arm, i turned slightly to look at them and seen Colin rubbing his arm confirming my thought. "Is there something you need?" i asked looking directly into Colin's eyes, he went to speak but when blaze growled he stopped and looked away "no, dismissed" he said and i scoffed turning around fully "really Colin? your gonna throw orders at me like im some kind of mutt, you'll earn the name alpha from me when you show me some respect" I said and colin was fully turned around now growling at me his canines sharp, blaze had set her drink aside holding her arms around colins chest holding him back.

"If i'm not your alpha get out!" he said and i looked to the side where i barely noticed sam, ethan, jade, and alpha blake. they were looking at me waiting for my next move "No" i said growling back and they got to there feet starring at me growls rumbling in there chest. "Fine, i'll go. But not because you told me to. Colin. but because i know i'd be wanted else were..." I turned my vision to look at blaze he has a sad look "And blaze.. when that war comes, it would be best you stayed in a secure location, daxis has wolves in armour, the armour made of silver and impossible to bite threw. i'm sorry" i said a weak smile crossing my lips. "tell shay i said i'm sorry and to not come looking from me. and tell him if he needs to see me, i'll meet him at paradise falls" i growled at colin getting in his face "If you call yourself an alpha with the way you disrespect your lower wolves you better think again." He growled but i growled back making him simmer down probably by the flashing gold in my eyes.

i walked off into the woods in a quick motion and when i got deep enough i put the ear piece in "Daxis... daxis you there?" i asked and i waited for a reply. a few minutes later i got a response "Yes. whats wrong?" i sighed knowing i might just make the worse decision i ever made before.

"i need a place to stay..."

Crazy day right? lol well i made this pretty long.. some twists.. well you got to see why Daxis was so cruel and what he is capable of.. officaily 3 more chapters and the book is done.

umm i was thinking if you want to be put into this book comment because i want someone to be Daxis is mate and plus i never really asked if anyone wanted to be in the book before.. soo, yeah just comment and what color wolf you wanna be and your character name (:
