Chapter 23

Blaze's P.O.V



"Daxis..." my words came out more as a horse whisper 'get a grip of yourself you have to prove yourself strong come on blaze keep yourself focused' my wolf growled at me and i wisped away the tears standing infront of jade and blake gripped jades arm growling. "You know Blake, it is quiet a surprise to me that you would be such a fool to take in whats mine" daxis growled back and i scoffed as he continued to play with something in his hands. "Daxis, should have known.." Blake growled back and snapped his fingers as 4 more black wolves added to the ones infront of us leaving 8 wolves in total to protect us.

I glared into Daxis's eyes as the wolves perched low ready to strike daxis just laughed? hes not even strong i mean for god sakes i beat him? "I see you've trained your puppies.. lets see what they can do?" Daxis finally released what was in his hand as he throws it at the wolves running at him the little ball explodes sending some type of vapor that clung to the wolves bodies making them whine and growl as they fell to the floor hopelessly trying to get the substance off. I took in a whiff of the air and cringed as I growled covering my nose "Wolfsbane" I growled a my eyes burned from the lingering vapor.

I nudged jade and Blake back as I glared at Daxis "come on Blaze, you know you can't beat me.. give up your hard headed ways and let's go!" he shouted as I focused on trying to use my powers for something even though I have no knowledge of what I'm capable of. I closed my eyes for a second as I re-opened them my hair slowly turned a glowing gold as my eyes did to, the house began to rumble as wind picked up I looked at a nervous Daxis who was trying to act tough. my hands began to glow golden as I walked toward daxis slowly glaring deep into his eyes as he fell to his knees gasping for air "you feel that, the air thinning around you, making you feel like you will have to go threw this suffering for an eternity, alone" I growled tears falling from my eyes as picture of him killing my mother flicked threw my head " I will make you suffer before I kill you, if you follow me when I leave or you come back here ill drive a silver dagger straight into your heart and watch you slowly die" I was face to face with him still watching him gape for air but when I laid my hand on his chest a burst of energy flew between us sending us flying in opposite directions.

i slammed into the wall as he flew somewere outside, my hair turned normal as my eyes did to. i looked around and seen blurry as i looked at jade and blake coming to me lifting me up to stand on my legs as air came rushing back into my lungs as i could suddenly hear everything "w-what did i do" i asked as i felt energy drained "Blaze you need to go, before are wolves come to see what happened.. They'll attack once they see you please leave" i nodded at Blakes words as i shifted into my wolf wobbling a little but shook my head and began trotting out.

i sprinted threw the woods as fast as my 4 legs could take me doging every tree and bush in my way till i reached the border, i walked over it taking in a breath as i trotted the rest of the way till i got to the pack house. i sniffed around the trees and found shorts and a spaghetti strap, i shifted changing into them and the shorts hardly fit me.

It was night time and there was no one lingering around the house, I quietly slipped threw the back door closing It behind me. I walked upstairs gripping the railing so I wouldn't fall back, I made it, my love I'm home. I gripped the door knob quietly opening the door as I walked in, I seen Colin Laying sound asleep in the bed. I walked over to him laying a hand on his cheek and I couldn't help but cry, Colin's eyes fluttered open when he seen me he sat up quickly grabbing me in his arms and lifting me on the bed, turning a so that he could hug me with me on top. to hug him, to feel his heart beat, his scent, his warmth.. Colin, my love I'm back with him and I plan on staying. and I won't leave again ill fight to stay with him. "Blaze" he said turning to the side setting me on the bed so he could see me, I put my hand on his face wiping away his tears as I kissed his forehead "I'm here love, I'm here" I told him bringing him back into my arms.

We stayed like this till we both fell asleep in each others arms

I woke up expecting to see Colin but didn't, no note no nothing. I sat up rubbing my head as I looked around, he's not in the room. I got up walking to the closet putting on a White knitted shirt that flowed down my back as it also covered my butt, I put black leggings on and walked to the bath room throwing my curly hair in a pony tail that was now to the beginning levels of my butt.. I need a hair cut soon. I finished washing my face as I left the room looking down the halls seeing no one, it's 9:34 a.m. usually people are roaming around by now. I quickly went back in the room coming back out with little chestnut boots that had a button on them, I pattered down the stairs and no one was in the living room or kitchen.. Oh my god DAXIS!

I quickly ran to the back door running out hardly even realizing my whole pack was standing out side with a welcome home sign in there hands. I quickly stopped in my tracks before I ran into them, I looked around at my pack mates, tears gathering in my eyes as there happy expressions turned to excited ones once they seen me. "WELCOME HOME LUNA" they all shouted as they Howled into the sky, Colin came beside me wrapping his arm around my waist as he howled with the pack all harmonizing in the same tone.

I lifted my face into the air as I took in a breath Howling a louder howl then I intended, I clearly heard my howl over everyone else's but still in the same harmony. I stopped as everyone cheered and then started separating into Groups for conversations "how come you didn't tell me about this" I said a bit insecure with what I was wearing "You look fine blaze, it was a surprise to, your important in this pack and we don't wanna lose you, I don't want to lose you" he put his hand on my cheek kissing me. "I love you Colin" I said holding his hand in mine "I love you to blaze, I always will".

We walked off to join are pack mates in fun conversations, I honestly couldn't ask for a better pack and one day I can make a family. We talked and hung out the rest of the day till we said are goodbyes to go to sleep, we went into the living room to watch a movie when we seen Jade and Blake standing there holding hands and smiling at us. "Colin" Jade said running to me and Colin gripping him into a tight hug as I walked to go talk to Blake "well this was a shocker, what's up?" Blake grinned as i came over to him "nothing really, Jade wanted to see Colin and we wanted to check up on you" he said giving me a one arm hug.

Jade really changed him a bit he seems more loving and caring. We all went to the kitchen to get snacks to watch a movie.

Despite all the negatives in my life I couldn't ask for a better mate, friends, pack, and sometime in the future kids. I won't run again I was always born to fight and I will because you fight for what you love.
