A/N: The talking dog part was kinda trash so you can skip that...yeah...

Kataleen

"Dog-walking?" Arlin said, stroking my wet hair. I just showered, so you know. "But you just did it yesterday!"

"I know," I replied, getting off his lap, "but hey, I'm bored out today!"

"And you promised that I'll teach you Quidditch today," Arlin said, standing up with crossed arms.

I whimpered pleadingly and hugged his waist. "Please, Arlin?"

"Wha --? Now what was that all about?!" Arlin exclaimed.

"Just... Bye!" I said quickly, slipping on my flip-flops and in a quick motion exiting the ajar door.

"Wha -- Hey! Kataleen, get back here!"

I just laughed, not bothering to use the gate and just hopping over the fence. While doing so I tied my hair in a loose, high ponytail. I was wearing a red shirt with a dancing cartoon couple design, with an open plaid polo over it. I had on my skinny jeans and the new round, blue glasses the Beryls gave me on my birthday.

"I promised someone something!" I yelled over my shoulder, chuckling as I went out of the community and to the busier streets.

I found my way to a shabby two-story house, checking the address paper in my pocket. "This is it."

I knocked on the door, and a grouchy-looking old woman carrying 2 puppies, with three grown dogs yipping and yapping trailing her, opened it.

She looked at me with a smile that made me shiver at her resemblance with Filch. "You handle these five. If a scratch gets on 'em yer payin' fer damages!"

I sighed as she handed me five leashes. This should be work. And to think I promised her generous neighbour yesterday that I'll help her handle her hard time with dogs. "Yes, madam."

"Walk them an hour," she nodded gruffly, before slamming the door shut behind her.

I sighed, as the door slamming triggered the dogs' barking. "If I don't get paid well for this I'm going to let Arlin use me as a spell practicing dummy."

As soon as I set each one down on the floor the dogs began yapping and going in all directions, causing me to fall on my keister. THESE DOGS ARE DRIVING ME MAD!

"STOP!" I yelled, and all dogs looked at me, whimpering. Hands on my hips I looked at the smallest one, saying as I stood up, "Nappy, you are going to head forward, hear me? Forward!"

The dog whimpered as I stared down at the other dogs. "Unless you follow my instructions I'm kicking you back into your grouchy owner's hellhole even if she sues me!"

But we'd rather sit out here on the pavement that stay with her!

I widened my eyes, and immediately crouched down to eye level with her bulldog, Tripp. "What was that?"

He just said that that owner of ours is worse than staying out in the storm, I heard Nappy whimper. What?!

"You guys can talk?" I whispered, and immediately realised there were so many people looking at me like I came from the asylum.
