Luke was 5 years old when he drew his first picture. "What a beautiful tree, honey." His mom had told him with a smile, her proud eyes scanning over the piece of paper.

He was 13 when he taught himself how to draw countless complicated designs on his friends. By then his walls had been covered in hundreds of them.

Luke was 17 years old when he got his first tattoo in the back of his friend Ashton's beat-up van. The memory of -as he described it- "the greatest night of his life" imprinted on his body forever.

He watched his eldest brother leave home to become a doctor, his second brother to become a lawyer and now his parents watched him leave to become what they thought was just a waste of time.

The blond boy was just happy to get out of that small suburban city with little opportunity and no future. Graduated high school, with a body filled with tattoos, he packed his bags and left home to study art in college, leaving behind his parents and his past. Luke was ready to finally get his chance to achieve his dreams with or without his family's approval.
