Taehyung was blowing up Nicola's phone, and he wasn't going to give in until he got an answer from her.
"They aren't even Read!" Taehyung shouted, "What if it was her?"
"Taehyung, it wasn't her!" Yoongi yelled, throwing a magazine across the room at a wall.
"How do you know?!" Taehyung yelled back at him.
"Because we've been watching the news for thirty god damn minutes and the victim was a 26 year old man!" Yoongi screamed, hitting Taehyung hard on the back of the skull, "Now shut up!"
"She probably just got her phone taken away," Jungkook said in an effort to console the whimpering Taehyung. "She said her parents were gonna murder her for being out. She probably just got grounded."
Taehyung let out light sniffles and wiped a damp cheek.
"You just met her," Yoongi said without looking at Taehyung.
"Shut up," Taehyung said.

It was Monday now and Taehyung was sitting anxiously in the A Wing Hallway, in front of the same mural where he met Nicola. She hadn't answered his text messages all weekend, and he was growing more and more anxious. Maybe, just maybe, she would go to the mural again.
"Taehyung!" Jimin yelled from inside A6, "Will you stop being useless and come inside?"
"I won't do anything until I make sure she's alive!" Taehyung yelled back.
"I saw her today in music class!" Namjoon shouted, "I promise she's alive; now will you help paint this set?"
"FINE!" Taehyung yelled, storming into the classroom.

There had been announcements about the shootings all day at school. Yes—shootings. There were two more that day, making Taehyung more and more paranoid. To keep his mind off of Nicola, Yoongi gave Taehyung the role of paining the grass; a tedious act of using 12 shades of green, and painting them in thin strands. It would take days—just in case Nicola took that long to answer him.
"You know," Hoseok told Namjoon, "I haven't seen much of Jin this weekend, or at all lately. Have you?"
"Yeah, I saw him yesterday," Namjoon laughed, "He invited me to hang out at his job! Did you guys know he worked at a pet store?"
Hoseok and Yoongi looked at each other immediately, and burst into laughter, "Oh really?" They said in unison.
"Yeah..." Namjoon replied, putting up his guard, "Why does it matter?"
"No reason," Hoseok mumbled, jabbing Yoongi in the ribcage with his elbow, invoking a haughty laugh.

A6 was...quiet...too quiet, even. The only noise was occasional snickering amongst every boy but Namjoon. Jin was still nowhere in sight.
"Hey," a meek voice said from the door, "Namjoon, have you seen Taehyung?"
Taehyung shot up like a bullet and ran to the door, "Nicola?" he called out cheerfully.
"Hi!" Nicola replied, standing shyly in the doorway, "Sorry if you've texted me at all lately. I got my phone taken by my parents," she laughed.
"Oh! He's texted you lately," Jungkook said from behind a desk, mocking Taehyung. "It's probably used up all of your data!"
Taehyung scowled, "Stop it, alright?" he growled at Jungkook.
Nicola grabbed Taehyung's arm and he felt each of her fingers press into the fabric of his shirt, "I wanted to let you know I had a nice time Friday, and I'm sorry I left so quickly," she giggled, "I wasn't sure if Jungkook told you I left."
"It's fine," Taehyung sighed happily, "I had fun too—" Taehyung was interrupted by a shout, and Jin, bursting through the door.
In his arms were a bunch of bright red roses.

"NAMJOON!" Jin shouted, "I HAVE SOMETHING TO ASK YOU!"
Namjoon spun around to face Jin, and was shocked. His face turned as red as the flowers Jin held out to him.
"Prom is soon," Jin mumbled, staring at his feet, "I know we just met and all, but I think we'd have a good time."
"Are you...?" Namjoon grinned and held a hand up to cover his mouth.
"Yeah," Jin smiled, "Wanna go to prom with me?"
The five other boys, Nicola, and even Annie, the Art Club supervisor, cheered when Namjoon said yes.
~
"That was incredibly sweet," Jimin said when Namjoon had been hugging Jin for an upmost of 30 seconds, "But we only have two more days to finish this set, and I'd like to get it done."
"Why do you ruin everything?" Jungkook asked Jimin.
"He's bitter," Taehyung laughed.
