Hoseok had just hung up the bird cage. It swung carelessly, emitting the tiniest creaking sounds as it shifted from left to right on its chain. The bird was well-behaved, for a lack of better words. It wasn't noisy or rambunctious as far as Hoseok could tell. He was not too worried about Yoongi. Hoseok could always get his way with Yoongi. This bird wouldn't come between them.

Suddenly, while Hoseok sat on the couch, with the bird on the arm-rest next to him, Yoongi burst through the door, panting and wheezing. He slammed the door and fell back onto it, desperately trying to catch his breath.

"Yoongi!" Hoseok shouted, as the bird flew to it's perch within the cage. Hoseok ran to Yoongi.

"I just had to run from the fucking cops!" Yoongi yelled, standing back up straight and wrapping his arms around Hoseok's neck, "That was the most intense moment of my life."

"That sounds terrifying," Hoseok mumbled into Yoongi's ear, "You shouldn't have gone back to that building."

"I know," Yoongi sighed, his voice muffled in Hoseok's shoulder, "I just can't wait to go to bed—Hoseok what the fuck is that," Yoongi shook himself out of the hug and pointed at the bird, standing sweetly in it's cage.

"Charlie," Hoseok said, staring at his own feet.

"You got a bird? And you didn't ask m—" Hoseok cut off Yoongi.

"I'm sorry—"

"You didn't let me finish," Yoongi grabbed Hoseok's hand, "You didn't ask me what to name it?" Yoongi smacked Hoseok slightly hard on the side of the head. "Shit Hoseok! I told you to get a hobby, but I didn't mean this!" He gestured at the bird again.

"So you aren't mad?" Hoseok asked, looking up.

"Of course I'm not mad," Yoongi said, putting his hand on Hoseok's cheek, "I'm pissed."

"What if I say you can name the bird?" Hoseok asked slyly.

"I'd welcome Loud Ass to the family," Yoongi smiled.

"Actually," Hoseok said, walking too the cage and allowing the bird to balance on his finger, "It's a very quiet bird," he giggled.

"Fine," Yoongi groaned, "Then I'd invite BamBam to the family."

"That's stupid," Hoseok scoffed.

"So is buying a bird without your roommate's permission!" Yoongi shouted, causing the bird to fly back into its cage.

"BamBam hates you," Hoseok mocked, pointing at the now self-caged bird.

"I'll kill it," Yoongi said, sticking up his middle finger at the cage.

"BamBam just escaped death row. You cannot kill him," Hoseok laughed.

"He isn't even a cool bird," Yoongi mumbled, walking to his bed and flopping onto the mattress.

"BamBam told me that he doesn't think you're cool either," Hoseok said, moseying over to the refrigerator and grabbing a Pepsi.

"Then the feeling is mutual," Yoongi chuckled.

Hoseok walked past the cage and shut the small gate on it for the night, "Yes," he then flopped into the bed next to Yoongi, "Yes it is."

Park Jimin wasn't allowed to be late. That word was not in his family's vocabulary. His mother and father did not raise their son to be late.

These are all phrases his parents said as Jimin walked through the door, late for dinner, and after dark. He walked straight upstairs to his room, with no dinner. It was a typical punishment in the Park home. He couldn't even be upset with them. He had only himself to blame. He was the one who was late.
