"So," Namjoon said, scooting closer to Nicola on the piano bench, "I heard you and Taehyung went on a date," he said, scrunching up his eyebrows as the chair squeaked.

"Yeah," Nicola replied, focusing on the sheet music in front of her, intently learning the piano assignment, "We went out."

"So...How was it?" He prodded.

"Namjoon, I have to learn this song in time for the show tonight!" She scolded, turning to face him.

"You're dodging the question," Namjoon said as he pressed down a black key with his index finger.

"God, you're persistent," Nicola laughed, "I had a lovely time, okay? It was amazing. Now can I get back to this?"

"Why don't you want to talk about it," Namjoon groaned.

"Because I don't want to mess up the play," she said, raising her voice and spinning around to put her hands on the piano's white keys.

"You love him," he said, grinning and turning to face the piano as well.

Nicola's face turned red, "We've only been on one date, is all," she sighed, turning a page in the song-book, and analyzing it, "I'm not trying to get my hopes up."

"Dont worry," Namjoon said, putting a hand on her shoulder, "Keep this between you and me—but he likes you too. A lot. I don't think you have anything to worry about," he chuckled.

"Wait," Nicola said, shutting the book, and cocking her head to the side, "How do you know?"

Namjoon groaned, "He's already planning the second date, for God's sake!" Namjoon rolled his eyes.

Nicola's face lit up, and she re-opened the book, adjusting her posture and tracing the first note with her finger.

"Alright," she beamed, "I'll get back to work then."

A6 was bustling with people before the play.

Jungkook, Yoongi, and the play's strong male lead picked up the massive backdrop and pivoted it out of the classroom and into the auditorium, onto the stage.

Meanwhile, Hoseok knelt on the ground while a sophomore girl stood in an old dress on top of a desk. He hemmed the bottom of her skirt, precisely, with a needle and lilac thread.

Jimin was practicing lines with an anxious freshman boy who had a big part in the play. Jimin sat on a stool as the freshman stood, marking movements with a shaky voice. Jimin fed the kid reassurances until he was confident enough to go into the hallway and rehearse with the upperclassmen.

Nicola and Taehyung were backstage. Taehyung sat to the left of her on the piano bench, as she rehearsed the background music she needed to play for the show tonight. She was trembling with nerves until Taehyung showed up, with his infectious smile and laughter. She became almost immediately calm.

Namjoon sat with his legs crossed with Jin, as the pair glued beads onto the bodice of the female-lead's dress. As they glued, the girl flirted incessantly with Namjoon, causing Jin to fume. Namjoon was completely clueless, flirting back, and grinning even. Jin snapped, putting down the glue and putting both of his hands on Namjoon's shoulders.

"Namjoon, you've been sitting for a while and you look tense," Jin mumbled.

Namjoon froze and let out a light sigh.

"Yeah," he said, relaxing, "I guess I am,"

The girl's eyes widened and her face turned red, "You guys have to glue these down," she said, putting two fingers under Namjoon's chin, "Right, Namjoon?"

"U-uh, yeah," he gulped and picked back up the glue and beads.

Before he could get the next one down, Jin interrupted him.

"Jimin!" Jin shouted across the room, "Please help this girl glue down her beads! Namjoon and I need a break,"

Jimin ran over, and knelt down in front of the girl, taking the beads and glue from Namjoon, "Okay!" He agreed politely.

"We'll be back soon," Jin said, grabbing Namjoon by his bicep and dragging him across the art room to Annie's desk.

"What was that for?" Namjoon asked Jin once they were away from the girl.

"You've been working for ages," Jin said, "You needed a break," he insisted.

Namjoon was sitting in the teacher's rolling chair, and Jin was propped on a shelving unit behind the desk. Jin spun Namjoon around in the chair and began rubbing his back.

"What's this for," Namjoon laughed, trying to turn back around.

"Just enjoy it!" Jin smiled, pressing circles in between Namjoon's shoulder blades.

Namjoon shut his eyes and leaned back into the motions, "I can't argue with that logic," he murmured, as some tensions in his back released.

Hoseok had just finished the last loop on the girl's skirt, when Yoongi walked into the room and sat on the edge of the table.

"Excellent work!" Yoongi said to Hoseok, slapping his back.

Hoseok had the needle hanging between his lips by the thread. Yoongi gave Hoseok a high five, and turned his attention to the girl on the table;

"You look lovely," Yoongi said, grabbing her hand and helping her down from the desktop.

"Thank you!" she said to Yoongi, turning to face Hoseok now, "—and thank you!" She added, pushing his dark hair out of his eyes, "I'm sure this hem will hold for the next thirty years!" She laughed, leaving A6 and wandering to the auditorium.

"No problem," Hoseok mumbled, spitting the needle onto the table and resting his forehead in his palms.

"I just hauled a two-hundred pound set across the school, and you're the tired one?" Yoongi said, pulling up a chair and sitting next to Hoseok.

"I just spent thirty minutes hemming the dress of a self-absorbed sophomore, Yoongi," Hoseok groaned, "I never want to see a needle or thread again," he chuckled, "Or a girl, for that matter."

"Boo hoo," Yoongi pestered, leaning back and putting his legs in Hoseok's lap.

"That was the worst half-hour of my life, I think," Hoseok laughed, putting his hands on Yoongi's calves, "I could go for a nap right now."

Yoongi stood up and grabbed a thick piece of scrap fabric that was thrown over a low hanging beam. He tucked it over Hoseok and grinned a gummy grin.

"I'll wake you up when the show starts then," Yoongi insisted.
