He sighed, then looked up again. Why do boys have to be irritating? Anyway, he took a deep breath, then started.
"Where do I start? Well, my parents were rich, so I went to this super exclusive private school. I graduated when I was seventeen." He paused and looked at me expectantly, as if this was some great accomplishment. I just stared back.
"What?" I asked, acting like he was crazy. "Graduating at seventeen is no big deal."
"Graduating college," He stated. I gaped. "Anyway, I became a doctor, because they were needed. I guess they needed fresh minds to help with cures and such. So I ended up here. And now," he sighed, being irritating again, "well now there's you." Sadness ringed his words. "Let's hear about your past, missie," he said, playfully.
"Alrighty, but this is gonna be a long one. So I was born here, in Alabama. Then, when I was only a baby still, we moved to Texas, for my dad's job. I stayed there until kindergarten, and had a lot of friends until we moved back here, again for my dad's job. I was a loner, because I used to live in Mobile. At Partin, where I ended up staying for elementary, I made a lot of friends. Emma was my very first friend in Birmingham. She and I went to church choir together, and we both went to Partin, so at recess we would walk the playground together, just talking. That was first grade. I met Eva in third grade, and Scarlet in fifth. But Scarlet and I didn't become good friends until sixth grade, when we moved to middle school." I took a breath. "I've had straight A's throughout my entire school career. And then, in ninth grade, everything changed. That thing came around. It only affected people like me." I tried, with all of my will to remember what I was; what I am. But nothing came.
"And we came here. I missed school, so much school. I had fun with my friends, and we had "study groups." But it hurt so much. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to do something. I--". My voice faltered. Again and again I couldn't remember that something, what I did. And then I got some help
