So if this guy wasn't stalkerish enough, he had a freaking mustache.  It just made things go up to a whole new level.  I mean, it was like one of the evil twirly ones that make you suspicious of anybody.

The worst part about this whole situation was Dean.  He set this up.  And he wasn't even helping me.  He was just kind of sitting there looking miserable and worried, but not doing anything.  And I trusted the backstabbing family member.

As the pit in my stomach grew, the Senator spoke up.  "Alright, Kay, come on.  I'm not going to hurt you."  Yeah, I thought, that's what everybody says.  But if I can get out those doors with this gosh-darned pod, then maybe I could get Joziah...

"Kay, please," my brother begged.  "Just go.  He can help."

"I think you've helped enough.  And you, Senator," I almost spit them out, "I need no help from you.  I am in a perfectly fine position with the staff and expertise in this facility.  I thank you kindly for the offer, but respectively decline," I stated, a challenging stare pasted on my face.  The senator popped a sly grin, twirled his mustache (I TOLD YOU), and challenged my stare and southern manners.

"Well Miss Kay, I was really trying to avoid this, but you have let me no choice.  Take her away," he commanded, I assumed to his ninjas-incognito.  I was first in shock about the sheer number of them there were.  And then I was really blown away that my own brother got up to restrain me.  I was about to give up for a second.  Then, I woke up and realized that these ninja dudes were trying to capture me to hand over to some creepy, powerful senator who will probably do horrible things to me.  I was really starting to doubt this was real, and find out this was just some movie that they were doing.  I was really starting to feel like Bolt.

After I got over being a drama queen, I analyzed again to come to the conclusion that:

A) the only clear path was from the bench to the door I came in through, and

B) my brother was in the way.

I couldn't remember the exact level of skill and beast-mode my brother was at because of the memory loss, but anybody could tell he was buff and in shape.  For only being seventeen, he was way too atheletic.  So, for that reason, I knew that it would be a tough thing to escape.  But, luckily, I love a good challenge.

"Quickly!" Dean shouted, motioning for the ninjas to hurry their butts up, "she's a powerful one!"  At this point the ninjas were closing in, and so was Dean.  Me, being the smart person I am, decided to start putting my plan into action.  I started running towards the doors.  This garden was HUGE, so the doors were a good 300-350 yards away.  That's about three football fields, folks.  And I had to not only run to the doors, but find a way to break the glass to get out.  Because opening the door would take way too long, and it was near impossible to open with the freaking pod on my arm.

As I was sprinting, my body went into auto-pilot.  This was a familiar rush, a friendly rhythm that my body welcomed and adapted to.  Somehow, I noticed Dean getting closer.  Unconsciencely, I pulled the pendant off my neck, and pressed real hard.  And then, somehow, someway, I was holding a beautifully familiar gold dagger.  As he pressed towards me, I slowed down, noticing the rather large gap between the ninjas and my brother.  I dropped back, having the perfect amount of space between Dean and the ninjas, just like I thought.  Right before he could put everything together, I stabbed my brother.  And then ran straight toward freedom
