It felt weird not waking up and having to go to school on Monday. I was so stuck in routine that I almost started flipping out when I saw the time.

I am currently sitting on my front porch, taking in the cool breeze. Vic had to work all day yesterday so he's probably going to be sleeping for awhile, so today, I'll have some down time.

Well, that's what I thought. Vic's jeep came out of nowhere and pulled into my driveway.

"Babe! Go get changed! We're all going out for the day." Vic said, hanging out of his window. I laughed and shook my head but stood up nonetheless.

I ran up to my room and put on the clothes that my hands touched first. I quickly ran a brush through my hair and put on my Toms. I ran back down the stairs and then out of the house.

"Alright, hoes, where am I sitting?" I asked once I reached the car.

"Front seat, duh." Vic said. I climbed into the car and looked in the back. Mike was behind me, Tony was in the middle, and Lynn was behind Vic.

"Jaime couldn't make it. He had some family thing going on today." Tony said, answering the question I was about to ask. I nodded my head and turned back around.

"Where we going?" I asked Vic.

"Somewhere special." He said and reached over to grab my hand. I shrugged my shoulders and looked out the window.

"Play some music!" Mike said from the back.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"Play some Green Day. More specifically Nimrod." He said. I reached over to the CD holder with my free hand. Once I found the album, I put it into the player. "Thanks Kelly Bear." Mike said. My stomach dropped at that nickname.

"Mike, don't call her that, please." Lynn said. I can feel her eyes on me and I know they're holding sympathy.

"N-no. It's alright. Remember, it's in the past." I said and Vic gave my hand a reassuring squeeze. I looked aver at him and smiled.

"What? Can someone explain?" Tony asked, obviously confused.

"Ex boyfriend problems." I simply said.

"Oh. Sorry Kellin." Mike said sadly.

"I said it's alright. I'm over it." I said, turning to look at him. Him and Tony, like Vic and I, were holding hands.

"Okay, seriously, where the hell are we going. We've been driving for roughly three hours and I still haven't eaten any food today." I complained.

"Kells. Why didn't you say something? We could've found somewhere to eat before we left Cassadaga. If we eat now, it'll ruin my entire plan," Vic said. "But I will stop here so you can get a bag of chips or something." He pulled into a Sheetz parking lot.

Vic handed me a ten and I jumped out of the car, quickly walking into the building. I walked through the aisle and decided on getting a small bag of gummy bears because why not. I went over to the cash register to pay for my things and I noticed the worker check me out. When he ripped off my receipt, he scribbled something down on it.

I looked down at it and saw a sloppily written phone number on it. I rolled my eyes it threw it away in the nearest garbage can. I also threw away the bag because I only had one thing.

When I got back into the car, Vic immediately started pulling out of his space. I handed Vic his change and he gladly took it. "A guy in there tried to give me his phone number." I said.
