The Dark and The Light (Kellic)

* Nineteen *

Today is the last day of school and I couldn't be happier. It was, what some may call, a half day. That meant we got out of school right after lunch was over. After today, I can spend my days with Vic and/or Lynn. Honestly, I'm mostly just looking forward to sleeping for how ever long I like and staying up really late. 

Right now, our little group of people are sitting in the library one last time until next year. "I'm so happy school is over. I finally get to relax for a bit."Lynn said. 

At this point, Mike and Tony were finally dating. Tony had his head resting on Mike's shoulder. "I am too. We all gotta hang out at Kellin's once a week though. Most likely on Friday's because of Vic having a job." Jaime said.

"Well, actually, about that. I'm quitting soon. It's too much for me right now." He said. Lynn gave him a surprised look but he just nodded. She just turned away and smiled. 

"Yay! That means I get to hang out with my amazing boyfriend whenever I want!" I squealed, jumping onto him and throwing my arms around him. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Lynn take a quick picture.

"Yes it does." Vic laughed. Just then, the bell rang, signaling that it was time to leave. We all got up and started to leave, but not until Lynn and I said said goodbye to the librarian.

"Until next year, Mrs. Hall." We said. 

"Goodbye Lynn and Kellin." She smiled, waving to the rest of the group. They all waved back and walked out of the library.

Lynn and I stayed back behind them for a couple of minutes. "You wanna run to my locker with me? I need to grab something real fast." She said, turning in the direction of her locker. 

"I guess I don't really have a choice, do I?" I asked her.

"Nope." She laughed.

When we got to her locker, she grabbed out a folder that said 'The Surprise Project' on it. "What is that for?" I questioned. 

"Isn't it obvious. It's a surprise." She said, shoving it into her bag. I gave her an unimpressed look, but decided not to worry about it too much. 

We walked out of the school to see the guys all standing around a bench waiting for us. 

"What took you guys so long?" Jaime asked once he saw us.

"Had to grab one last thing before leaving." Lynn said, looking over at Vic. What have they got planned? Jaime nodded his head and we started walking to my house. Since it's finally tolerable weather out, we've been walking to and from school.

"Kellin? Vic? How long have you two been dating?" Mike asked us. 

"Roughly six months." Vic said.

"It'll be six months in a week, actually." I said.

"Oh, there we go then." Vic laughed, squeezing my hand. I rolled my eyes and started swinging our hands together like we were children. Vic looked over at me and raised his eyebrow. I giggled then gave him a light kiss.

"So cute." I heard Lynn whisper behind us. I blushed and turned to look at her. She gave me a sweet smile. 

"I know." Vic remarked. Lynn rolled her eyes and looked down at her phone. 

When we got to my house, we all immediately went to the kitchen. Our plan was to go to my room, close all the curtains, eat a lot of food, and watch a lot of Netflix. 

"Kellin! Go get your room ready!" Mike shouted, grabbing some soda from the fridge. I ran up to my room and closed all of the curtains, putting a blanket over the one that had light shining through it. I got out a few blankets and pillows then turning on the t.v and the xbox. I pulled up the app and signed in. It's been a long time since I've touched this thing. I'm surprised it still worked.

A few minutes later, everyone else was coming up the stairs. Mike ran in and flopped down onto the floor while everyone else calmly came in. Lynn sat in my weird bouncy chair, Vic came on the bed, Tony laid down on top of Mike, and Jaime sat on a beanbag. 

"Mike, you pick something. You probably know how to work that thing." I said, crawling into Vic's lap.

"Well, I would if I didn't have a body on me." He said, trying to look around at Tony. He giggled and rolled of of Mike. Mike picked up the controller and started looking for something. I felt Vic put his face into my neck. I leaned back into his embrace and closed my eyes, smiling slightly. 

When my eyes opened again, Lynn was sitting there smiling at her phone. "What's got you all smilely?" I asked her.

"Nothing important." She said, waving her hand. 

"Aha! We, my friends, are watching a horror move." Mike cheered, clicking on a movie called 'Hush.' (A/N this movie is actually terrifying )

"Great." I mumbled under my breath. I hate horror movies. I can watch them and everything but they get me paranoid. Vic squeezed my waist. He must've heard me. Oh well. 

Throughout the movie, everyone would jump at the freaky parts. Though, halfway through the movie, my bedroom door swung open forcefully. Lynn let out a scream, Jaime threw the popcorn, Tony tossed the blanket over him and Mike, and I quickly turned my body around and threw myself into Vic's body.

The person at the door turned my light on. Of course it was my mom. "Did I scare ya?" She asked excitedly. We all gave her unimpressed looks. Mike reached over and paused the movie.

"Holy shit, Kells. I think you scared me more than she did." Vic laughed, rubbing his hands up and down my back. 

"My bad." I said sarcastically. I pushed myself away from him and sat down on the bed beside him.

"Thank god! I can't feel my legs!" He said, stretching out his legs.

"Wow. I can feel the love." I said with an eye roll. I scooted a little bit away from him.

"Hey now. Don't be like that." He whined, pulling me closer to him by my waist. He lightly kissed my temple then pulled me into an over exaggerated hug, shoving my head into his chest. "Please love me!" He shouted, rocking my body back and forth.

"Vic!" I laughed, trying to get out of whatever it is he is doing. He just held me there tighter.

"Not until you show me love." He said.

"What do you expect me to do? I'm kind of stuck here." I said like it was obvious.

"If I let you go, will you give me a kiss?" He asked, stopping the swaying motion.

"Ew. Guys. You make me wanna puke." Tony complained, throwing a pillow at us. 

"No! I think it's cute!" My mom cooed. Tony rolled his eyes then cuddled into Mike. 

"Deal!" I said, pulling out his hold. I quickly pecked his nose.

"No no, darling. That does not count." He complained.

"Well, that's al-" He cut my off by grabbing my face and actually kissing me. I giggled and kissed him back. It was too hard to resist. 

"You're cute." Vic said when he pulled away.

"I know." I said with a smirk.

"Oh! kill em!" Jaime yelled, standing up. Vic just rolled his eyes and fell backwards, pulling me with him.

"Alright kids, I'm going out to hang out and have a much needed girls night with my friends. I probably won't be back until tomorrow." My mom said, walking to the door. "Lights off?" She asked. I nodded so she flipped the switch and closed the door.

For the remainder of the day, all of us sat in my room and watched movies and joked around with each other. I am honestly so happy with my life at this point in time.
