graduation

It was Niko's turn next. It went Xavier Larsen, Niko Laspino, and then Bonnie Laurence, and so on and so forth.

Xavier just went up, and Niko's palms were sweaty already. He looked out to the audience and saw his dad smiling next to Jade who had two thumbs up.

"Niko Laspino." He walked up to the principal and vice principal. He shook hands and continued with a smile on his face.

The rest of the students in his class went pretty fast. Soon it was the valedictorian speech.

"I'm proud to say...." Niko tuned him out and looked back to the audience. He didn't see anyone looking so he just paid attention to the valedictorian.

"Have a great summer!" He says and does the peace sign and walks off the made up stage.

Once the principal was done saying his last words, Niko headed to his dad.

"Great job son!" He said patting his shoulder. Then Niko went to Jade.

"Yoooo! I'm finally done with school." He says hugging her tightly.

"Yea I know you lucky butt." Jade said laughing and they stopped hugging.

Niko saw Kayson and his mom and brother walk up to Jade and Tara. "Congratulations." Sara says even though she doesn't know Niko.

"Thanks." Niko says softly and plays with his lip ring.

"So let's get this party started. Jade, Kayson, and Niko go wherever you please but keep it legal, and the adults will sort this out. Let's roll out." Tara says leading the parents to their cars leaving only Kayson's open.

Jade points it out and they just go to it. On the way Niko takes his gown off and cap too. He was wearing a Nirvana cut off t-shirt with a pair of dark blue jeans, and converse.

"Okey dokey, what are we doing?" Kayson asked once he got to his car. He turned around and saw Niko looking away, and Jade staring at Sara and Finnegan getting in a car while Tara got in hers. Kayson took this chance to stare at Niko.

He was smiling so Kayson could see his dimples that looked cute, his eyes seemed more of an icy blue than a calm baby blue, and Niko was all together seemingly hot.

Jade was the first to look back to Kayson. "We could go to Niko's and pig out on food. We can raid his pantry."

"No, your mom always has food. I'm surprised Tara still has money for food with how much you eat." Niko looked at Jade and laughed.

They all decided to go to some ice cream parlor and gorge on ice cream and any toppings they wanted. Then they went to the beach house and had a party.
