father's day

Niko knew his father deserved to have a day of rest. But Niko knew his father wouldn't not go to work. He started being a workaholic after Niko's mom died.

Niko decided to wait until his dad came home to celebrate Father's Day.

In the meantime, he had Jade come over. He could easily have her help his arrange this.

"Hello Niko. How are you?" Jade asked when she went up to his room. He said pretty good and then had her help him start cleaning.

They cleaned the house top to bottom, spick and span. Nothing had a piece of dust on it, and everything sparkled.

Jade inquired, "Alright Mr clean freak, why are you doing this? Your dad is barely home, and you don't celebrate holidays."

"Because I think my dad deserves this after everything I've put him through." Niko explained eating a sandwich he made while talking her.

Jade nods and Niko makes French toast that he knows is his dad's favorite.

"Well I'll go before you start telling me to clean my own home. Bye Niko."

"By Jade!"

Jade left and saw Niko's father driving past her about ten minutes later.

Niko heard the door open, and yelled

"Happy Father's Day dad!"

He walked out with the French toast and gave it to his dad. "Thanks son."

Niko nodded and gave him a card he got. It was a lot compared to what Niko normally does on holidays.
