I feed Katsu an apple before handing him to Brendan, the horse sitter. I thank him before I head into the castle. I head through a few corridors before I get to my room. Aphmau's room above. Plopping into my queen sized bed, I stare at the ceiling, feeling kinda down. Every now and then, I stare at this ceiling, thinking about what it would have been like to have a mom. Dad told me she was smart , thoughtful, loving, beautiful and put others before herself. And I remember her the same as he does. And that's the one thing we in common - we both miss her, and everything she did to this world. Just then, a butler bursts into the room.
" Lady Aphmau !"
" Yes ?"
" There's no time to waste. An attack is occurring at the moment. The King requests that we put you in the underground basement for safety. "
Then, the butler and I rush downstairs to the safety of the basement, and me, well I couldn't believe anything right now.
" Hurry !" The butler calls.
I was feeling so many emotions : fright, anger, and surprise. Running faster than I ever had before, the butler and I go to the safety of the basement.
