Chapter 5- EMMA

I feel light and silly. Every time I try pushing the smile from my face it keeps creeping back again. After a few attempts I give up. I still don't believe that he declared his love for me.

I take a one hour nap. When I wake up I find a message from Adams which says: Meet me half an hour before our actually meeting timing. Me, Amanda, Ashley, and Adams meeting was supposed to be 5:30 pm. But now he wants to meet me at 5 pm. I wear my concert outfit and apply my makeup, then I hurry to meet Adams in the lobby at 5 pm.

I find him already waiting for me. He smiles when he sees me and leaves a space for me next to him on the couch.

"I wanted to get you alone because...." his voice trails off.

"What?" I say worried.

"I want to meet you today after the concert"

"Why?"

"It's a surprise!" He says, excited.

"Oh okay, sure! I wonder what is it tho" I say more eagerly than I would like.

"Be patient ya girl" he says laughing.

"Okay" I say laughing too.

Ashley and Amanda emerge from the hotel's hallway smiling.
