Thank you so much for 1.3k reads! It's amazing to come home and see so much support for something I've put a lot of effort into. This is a slightly shorter chapter, but I've got another part to post very soon so watch out for that! Thank you for all the votes, reads, follows and comments, all of it is seen and hugely appreciated. Enjoy below chapter 5, "Going home"

"I need to go to work now, any chance you could quickly fill me in?" Harry grabbed his coat, and started walking towards the door.

"We'll talk about it tonight, so Ron can hear it too. But if they've been in the garden, then it's too risky to talk here. We can't lead them to you, so we need to go somewhere where they wouldn't risk going - somewhere safe..."
Harry could see where this was going. "No. No way Mione. The kids are there – your kids too! I'm not putting them in any danger, no, just no."
Hermione gave him a stern look. "You think I don't know? I've thought all of this through - I wouldn't do this if I didn't think it was best. The kids won't know we're there, it'll be late anyway. Don't worry, it'll be fine."

Knowing Hermione would never put her kids – (or anyone else's for that matter) in danger, he gave in. "I'm trusting you on this one. I finish work at 7 tonight, so I'll meet you there at around that time."

Hermione smiled as she opened the door for Harry. "So that's sorted. We're going back to Hogwarts."

-----

It was now evening, and Hermione was waiting for Ron. Having decided she'd be no use 'moping' at home, Hermione had gone to work mid-afternoon, blaming a non-existent injury on her lateness. She had texted Ron, letting him know that she was at work, and that he should meet her outside her office. She had yet to tell him the plan. A few minutes later, Ron appeared, with a pile of paper in his hand.

"Hiya." He said, kissing her cheek. "Bloody paperwork that's due in two days – they think I have all the time in the world! This evening will be filled with paperwork tonight - very fun. How is everything with Harry by the way?"

"Yeah, don't worry, it's all good – but hey, listen. About the-" Hermione paused as someone walked past. "About the figure – Harry and I have agreed it's time to take action. I've got a plan."
They began to walk, Ron watching Hermione intently. "What's the plan?"
"Well, that's the thing. I'm sorry Ron, but you're going to have to ditch the paperwork tonight. We're going to Hogwarts."
Ron stopped walking. "Bloody Hell Mione! Hogwarts? Why would we need to go there?"

"Well, like I told you before, there was someone in the garden – meaning whoever is following us knows where we live. It's too risky to discuss a plan at home, and we can't do it at Harrys for obvious reasons, so –"

"So Hogwarts seemed like the best option? But we're just putting the kids at risk, why would you –"

"Ron! I've already heard this from Harry. They won't expect us to go to Hogwarts because we're adults now, they'll think we're too proud to return and ask for help at Hogwarts. But we're not asking for help – in fact, no one'll know we're there. It's just a place for us to safely discuss things. Plus, I doubt they'd risk going there themselves - it's the one place they wont go. Satisfied? Now let's go!"

Before any further argument, Hermione was walking away, with the expectation that Ron would follow. Ron ran to catch up with her. He grabbed her hand, smiling. "I see my intelligence is starting to rub on you." She laughed, and the two left the ministry.

---

"Its best if we apparate separately. If they're watching us, then it'll be difficult to track all three of us. You know where to meet?" Ron and Harry nodded. One by one, they morphed into the air, until Hermione remained. She quickly cast protection spells over her home, muttering "protego totalum." As a blanket of haze settled all over the house, Hermione too, disappeared into the peaceful evening air.
