Chloe's POV:
As I walked away from Beca with a smile on my face I looked forward to my 'tour' of the school later. It was the best excuse I could make to spend more time with the girl.
Beca gave off a different vibe, one that really interests me, with her skinny jeans, flannel shirts and those ear piercings. But on top of all of this there was no doubt that she was beautiful. I couldn't wait to learn more about her, maybe I could get past her distant outer exterior and see what's really underneath.
All through my previous career, I never really had any close colleagues I could call my friends, there were a few girls I'd go for drinks with but something didn't feel right. As I sat in the staff room at Barden I could already sense a real feeling of togetherness and could observe the groups of women and men engaging over their cups of coffees, it seemed like a really nice place, I couldn't wait to continue working....

As the lunch bell rang I hurried from my class to the music hall where I stood outside, peering through the small window to see Beca sat at a laptop, the edge of her tongue just peeking out through her perfectly pinked lips. She looked very concentrated on whatever was on that laptop as I walked into the room quietly.
"If this wasn't a school I would be tempted you to say you were watching something... Inappropriate by the way you're looking at that computer" I joked and winked. Which seemed to be something I was doing more often around Beca.
"Dude! N-no way. I was, erm, mixing" Beca ran her hand through her chocolate curls and smiled up at me.
"Ahh cool, shall we go? This schools massive and I wanna see everything" Ok so I couldn't help but wink at that.

After a groan from Beca and a giggle from me we were on our way.
She took me all around the school to different departments and introduced me to most of the teachers. I met the stern blonde from this mornings meeting, Aubrey, and Stacie the science teacher, who was pretty hot, and lastly Jesse, the English teacher. I also learnt that Jesse was Beca's best friend, it was clear by the way the two interacted. It was subtle but there was definitely a sort of love there, even with Beca's snarky comments.

After our tour we sat in the staff room chatting over a cup of coffee.
"So, Mitchell, tell me about yourself," I asked with a smile. I had been dying to get to know the girl ever since I locked eyes with her stormy dark blue ones of the first day. There was so much locked behind those eyes and I just needed to find the key.
"Erm, there's not much to tell I guess. I've lived here all my life, my dad's the principle here. He's remarried to my step-mum Sheila, she's okay I guess." Beca trailed off. I wondered what happened to her mother but I guess that if she wanted to tell me she would've done so already. I decided to leave it, if we really do get to know eachother then she'll tell me when the time is right.
"How about you, Beale, anything to tell?" She continued with a smirk. That smirk. I'd seen it on her face a lot today, pretty hot.
"Errr, well I moved here 3 years ago, been in and out of drama related jobs and now I'm here. Currently single," I winked and laughed, "my parents live back in my home town, and I go to see them any time I can. My fathers very supportive of me, more than my mum but she's not un-supportive I guess she's just got other things on her mind."
I decided to leave out the part about my mums cancer, she was a fighter and was on one of her last rounds of chemotherapy. She would beat this cancer, but still Chloe couldn't help but fear the loss of her mother.

As they circled back to where our tour started, Chloe passed her classroom, well it was more of a large expanse with a raised 'stage' on one side.
"I've never actually looked around in here," Beca trailed off as she pushed the door of the drama studio open and wandered inside, Chloe in tow.
"It's pretty simple," the redhead laughed, "there's a stage, a curtain, bit of backstage and here's where my class do writing and that," Chloe gestured around.
"On the floor?" Beca asked as she saw there were only a few desks dotted around.
"They dont mind," Chloe shrugged with a smile as she sat on the floor gracefully, "it's actually pretty comfy,"
"I'll pass," Beca stated as she looked at Chloe sat cross-legged with a grin.
"C'mon you never sat on the floor before?" Chloe asked.
"Nah, not really,"
"First time for everything," Chloe almost sung as she quickly grabbed the brunettes forearm and tugged her down sharply, Beca landed with a slight thud on the floor and scowled at Chloe.
"Dude, not cool," she frowned.
"Aw sorry, comfy though right?" Chloe laughed as she tapped the floor, Beca simply grumbled as she stood up again and straightened her shirt. Chloe hopped up beside her with a chuckle as she looked at the frown on the brunettes face, threatening to crack into a smile.

It was then that the bell rang for class and we departed from eachother, Beca leaving out of the door, grumbling to herself once again. 'That was one hell of a lunch break,' Chloe thought.
