'Gone to visit mom, be back by 11, love you xx' Chloe smiled lightly at the note left on her side, the brunette always left a note when she knew Chloe would probably wake up alone, and always ended it with a sweet message. Chloe raised her head to look at the alarm clock and sighed, it was 10am, she decided to sleep some more until the brunette came home.

Meanwhile, Beca sat by the side of her moms headstone, making a daisy chain from the small flowers dotted around her grave. A few other people were visiting their loved ones so Beca kept to herself, whispering to her mom whenever she wanted to talk. Her phone chimed in her pocket and she paused what she was doing to reach for it and swipe it open,
Jesse: All is done ;)
Me: Thanks Jess, how's it look?
Jesse: Absolutely awesome
Me: Great, send my thanks to Bree too, I knew she'd want it to be perfect ;)
Jesse: On it, have a good day Becs!

Beca smiled to herself as she put the phone back in her pocket and finished off her chain,
"Just you wait mom... see you soon," Beca hung the daisy chain over her headstone and clambered to her feet, brushing herself off before returning to her car, she checked the time and she would be back to the house in the time she told Chloe in her note, yet she decided to stop by the shop.

Chloe had woken up again at 10:45 and decided to get up, she fixed herself a coffee and sat with a magazine when there was a knock at the door. She opened it to a bouquet of flowers and a cheeky grin from Beca. Chloe laughed as she took the flowers from Beca and was followed in.
"Thanks babe," Chloe chuckled as she put them in a vase as Beca made herself a cup of coffee.
"It's really warm out," Beca said as she sat with her coffee and slouched at the kitchen island.
"Well it is basically summer," Chloe stated.
"Shut up y'know what I mean," Beca smiled, "oh hey, d'ya want this?" Beca asked as she pulled a usb out of her pocket.
"Yeaahhh," Chloe smiled as she circled the island and plucked the usb out of Beca's hand with a kiss. "Where'd this come from?"
"My pocket," Beca smirked and Chloe gave her a pointed look with a smile.
"Well you know all the times at Barden when I have my head stuck in my laptop in class or at lunch or whenever?" Beca continued.
"Yeah,"
"Well everyone thinks I'm like marking assessments in class but I was making that," she gestured to the usb, "songs that remind me of you or of us and some mixes I thought you'd like,"
"And here I was thinking you were a dedicated teacher," Chloe grinned.
"I tend to dedicate my time to more important things," Beca winked at Chloe.
"Oh I see," Chloe grinned.

In the early afternoon, Beca stuck her head through the door.
"Heads up, catch!" She called with a laugh and as Chloe spun round she threw her a pair of shoes.
"Your lucky I can catch," Chloe said as she had caught the shoes.
"Eh, I trust you," Beca shrugged with a smile.
"Let me guess where we're going..." Chloe trailed off.
"We don't have to if you don't want to," Beca shrugged.
"No not at all, I love our walks, and as you said, it's warm," Chloe smiled as she pulled on her shoes and the pair then left like normal, hand in hand, on their way to their favourite place to walk.

As they were turning to the street, Beca noticed a small heart carved into the trunk of the tree,
"Hey, look at this," Beca said as she ran her hand over the tree.
"That's sweet," Chloe smiled.
"Did you ever do that? Carve into tree's?" Beca asked.
"Yeah a few times when I was younger, we had a tree in our back yard and I used to carve my name and any of my friends that came and went so I wouldn't forget," Chloe laughed.
"Awh, little friendless Chlo," Beca laughed as she dragged Chloe along to the start of the street and straying into the road and began to walk, returning back to conversation.
As they were around halfway down the street, Beca stopped,
"I wanna do something," she stated.
"Alright I think that's against the law," Chloe laughed.
"Not that! You go down there, I want a picture of my two favourite things," Beca smiled.
"Fair enough, I'm up for that," Chloe smiled as she broke away from Beca and skipped down the street. Beca took her phone out of her pocket.
"Hold up a sec, Chlo my phone's gone weird," Beca called. Chloe rolled her eyes with a smile and began to take in the scenery, it really was warm out and she had a simple patterned dress on. As she looked back towards Beca, something caught her eyes. As she looked closer, she became quizzical before her eyes welled over with tears.
"Beca? What's this?" Chloe asked as tears built up in her eyes.
"What you on about?" Beca called back.
"Come here," Chloe waved her over and when she got there she pointed to the row of trees. There, 6 trees in a row each with one word carved into it, it read 'Chloe Beale will you marry me?'
As Chloe spun back around to gauge Beca's reaction, instead of being stood gawping, she was down on one knee with a perfect ring in a black velvet box between her fingers, tears glazing over her eyes.
"Chloe Grace Beale, I knew you were going to be the one from the first time I locked eyes with you, you're absolutely perfect, and I can't imagine a life without you. I love you. Will you make me the happiest badass on the planet and agree to marry me?" She asked with a chuckle. Chloe was overwhelmed, tears streamed down her cheeks at the sheer perfectness of this moment and she was too overcome to speak so she gave a nod of her head and Beca slipped the ring onto her finger before rising and engulfing Chloe in a massive hug as emotions overwhelmed the both of them. As Chloe's body stopped shaking from the mixture of tears and laughter, she pulled away from the hug and rested their foreheads together.
"I love you so fucking much," she chuckled as she met Beca's eyes and kissed her passionately, putting all the love and all the emotion into the kiss to portray how special this moment was, with Beca, her fiancé.
It was as she broke away that the Beca spoke up,
"Was that how you expected it?" She asked.
"More, so much more," she smiled as she wiped at her eyes.
"I'm glad," Beca smiled as Chloe nuzzled into her shoulder, it was just then that the pair heard clapping. From behind the trees at the top of the road came Jesse, Aubrey, Stacie and Nathan, all giving a round of applause as they speed walked towards the pair, engulfing them in a massive group hug as Chloe felt tears rising to her eyes again.
"Couldn't of done it without this lot," Beca stated as she accepted hugs from everyone and congratulations.
"Yeah, after you told us you were going it alone!" Jesse laughed as he hugged Chloe.
"Congrats you two, I'm so proud the midget pulled it off," Aubrey said.
"Nathan?" Chloe asked as she hugged him.
"Someone had to take the pictures, mom and dad would kill me if I didn't, it was so cute, I'm happy for you," Nathan spoke as he moved to hug Beca, "good move Beca, or should I say sister-in-law," he smirked as he kissed her on the cheek.
"Time for drinks!" Stacie called and the group laughed, Chloe whipped her phone out and took a photo of the trees with the words still carved into them and smiled. As she reached for Beca's hand she smiled broadly as she watched the smile on Beca's face never fade. She leant her head on her shoulder,
"Thanks babe, this was perfect, you're perfect and I love you. I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together, but I'll always remember this moment, this perfect moment and I can't imagine how long you've been prepping for this, especially the trees, good move ." She whispered with a laugh in her ear as she kissed her shoulder lightly and Beca smiled broadly as she gave Chloe's hand a squeeze.
The brunette couldn't believe that she had pulled it off, she was engaged to the most beautiful woman she'd ever seen and not only was she now her fiancé, she was her best friend.

The group went out for drinks at the pub that night and soon filtered off until it was just Beca and Chloe waltzing half drunk back to their home and collapsing in giggles and kisses on the bed as the early morning approached and until the day that Beca Mitchell proposed to Chloe Beale was just another memorable day in the pairs lives, however this one would last forever, much like the day they first locked eyes. Both women slept soundly limb entwined with limb as they awaited the adventures they were yet to embark on...
