She floated back and forth letting this strange wind push her to wherever it wanted. She felt weightless almost as if she could defy gravity at any moment now and begin levitating. And it would be no magic trick.

Eva looked around her.Everyone seemed to be swaying to the music perfectly in sync.It was as if the music had possessed them, using their hips and bodies as an extension of her own, allowing them to move according to her dictations. She smiled. It was funny, right there on the dance floor,a place where much chaos was expected she found some wondrous sort of order.

Closing her eyes, she herself kept time with the music losing herself in that sweaty stuffy crowd of strangers.Surrendering to the power of music.

Suddenly, she felt rough hands trailing up her hips causing a ripple to course through the calm peaceful waters that was her mind. She turned immediately, the stranger's hands slipping from her thighs and made her way to the washroom.

The sound of the music still accompanied her to the washroom and she could hear the lyrics clearly from the toilet. She frowned. That man just had to disturb her peace.

Trailing her fingers through her short purple braids that formed a perfect little bob, she stared at her reflection in the mirror. Her heart shaped face.Clichè.Her large dark chocolate eyes.Clichè.Her full lips.Clichè.But it was the colour. The colour of her lips that intrigued most people. Her upper lip was brown yet the lower lip was a starkingly rosy pink colour. She traced the reflection of her lips in the mirror. Her lips, they reminded her of him.

She closed her eyes and she could still feel his soft lingering touch on her lips.He used to be so enticed by the colour of her lips. She remembered. She remebered every detail about him all too well.As well as everything else that came with him.The music still played on,hypnotising her with its lyrics.

So many reasons why you were wrong

It was my fault too I played along

I should've said no, tension goes

Should've said no......

I can't take this any longer

I can't keep myself together......

A single tear speared through her eye, pooling on her lower eyelid before making its escape and falling down her cheek. Those lyrics felt so true and rattled her, forcing her turbulent emotions to come to the forefront yet again.

She couldn't take it anymore. She stumbled out of the door and out of the club into the darkness of the night that would shield her as she allowed the tears to flow freely.

The song: the wall by Arty featuring Tania Zygar.Do listen to the song it will make you feel like you're there at the club with Eva.
