Chapter 7

RECAP

I looked at the road and i was sure it was clear and i quickly leaned feeling my hand across the floor for my phone.

I heard kieshia gasp loudly. "CHRES!" she screamed.

I quickly leaned back up to see 2 headlights comming straight towards us.

"AHHH!" kieshia screamed.

"Oh shit!"

"Beeeeeeep"

I swerved the car quickly loosing control. and swerved off of the road.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

I slowly blinked my eyes open.

"ughh.." i groaned feeling slight pain over my body.

I looked around and noticed the car was in the woods.

The windows of the car were broken out,the windshield was cracked and no telling what the outside of the car looked like.

I'm just glad the car didn't land upside down.

I dusted the broken glass off of my lap,seeing that i had more cuts on my arms.

"Damn..you were right kieshia,texting and driving at 85 mph is not a good combination.."

She didn't respond so i looked to my right at the passenger side and my eyes widened.

She was no were to be seen in the car.

I quickly turned around and she wasn't in the backseat.

"Kieshia!" i yelled looking around.

I felt my heartbeat speed up thinking of what could have happened to her.

What if she flew out of the window while the car was rolling into the woods and it rolled ontop of her?

What if she flew out and flew into a tree?

Better yet,what if she's dead?

I shook the bad thoughts out of my mind and pushed positive ones in.

Maybe she landed somewhere but was ok?

All i know is,is that i need to find her.

I reached for my seatbelt and unlocked it.

When i tried to opened the door it wouldn't budge. Damn it.

I pushed on it harder but it wasn't any use,so i just squirmed out of my seat and crawled out of the window.

I stood up and thats when a horrible pain shot through my leg.

"Aw! the fuck!"

I sat on the grass and raised my pants legg up to see a deep ass cut on my calf.

"Damn..."

I slowly stood back up and started limping.

Fuck the cut,i just need to find kieshia,and i just hope she's ok.

"Kieshia!" i called out,limping around the woods in search for her.

"KIESHIA!" i yelled louder. "WHERE ARE YOU?!"

I heard my echoe fly through the vacant woods,but no respond from kieshia what so ever.

What if she was dead? It would be all my fault for worring about my phone and driving so reckless. I should have just slowed down like she said and never paid attention to my phone. Things would still be going as planned. But thats fucked up now,My good day just quickly turned bad. -Sigh-

I continued to limp around searching every part of the woods,still no kieshia though.

10 minutes later.... (PLAY THE SONG IN MEDIA BOX)

I started to loose hope,i couldn't find her anywhere.

I'm not the one to cry but i felt the back of my eyelids burn.

"This is all my fucking fault!"

I was about to limp over to a tree to sit under until i stepped on something that almost made me trip.

I looked down to see a bred 11 shoe.

I felt a spurt of joy come over me because it had to be kieshia's shoe,which meant she was close by.

I picked the shoe up,that was now scrapped up and dirty. "Were are you?" i said lowly looking around.

"Ok,the shoe was right here" i said looking down at the spot that kieshia's shoe once sat and looked straight ahead. "Maybe she's that way.."

I humped my shoulders.It wouldn't hurt to try.

Please let her be this way. I thought to myself as i quickly limped up a hill.

Once i got to the top of the hill,i saw a leg sticking away from under some leaves and stuff.

"KIESHIA!" i yelled,happy because her shoe led me in the right direction.

I dropped the shoe and started running towards her,forgetting all about my legg that was hurting like crazy.

But my happiness left when i noticed she was still with no movement.

Please don't be...

I dropped down beside her and started pushing the sticks and things off of her body. "Kieshia baby,talk to me.." i said pulling her limp body up and laying her over my lap. "Kieshia..."

I put my 2 fingers over her neck to check for a pulse,but i felt nothing. "no..."

I put my head to her chest for a heartbeat but it was silent. "NO! no no no no!" i yelled,shaking her body. "No! kieshia please! don't be dead please!"

I shook her body like crazy hoping she would just magically have a heartbeat and jump up,but it wasn't happening.

"Please,You don't understand how much i need you..." i sobbed feeling tears drip down my cheecks.

I held her in my arms and silently cried. "God please don't take her....please don't take her god.."

"Not again..." i cried. "I can't loose somebody that means something to me again...just when i was about to make it right..."

I looked down at her face,that had 3 cuts on it. Her eyes were closed and i felt so bad,because this was all my fault.
