Tundra's POV
Ash laid next to me after that encounter. He held me close to him, protectively.
"I am so sorry Tundra..." Ash whimpers painfully.
I shake my head. "It wasn't your fault." I stated.
"I swear to god when I find that son of a bitch, he's going to suffer a fate worse than death." Ash snarled as he held me closer.
I whimpered, afraid of the person who attacked me. Ash lovingly caressed my abdomen, where our pups were. He leaned down and kissed the skin.
"I won't let anyone hurt any of you." Ash said as he looked up at me.
"And when I find out who it was, there will be hell to pay." He whispered.
Tears fell from my eyes. I was still so scared. Ash came back up from my stomach and planted his lips on mine. He moved my hair away from my face as he deepened the kiss. We pulled away before things got heated.
"I love you so damn much." Ash whispers as he rests his forehead on mine.
"I love you too." I replied.
I fell asleep in Ash's protective arms.
Kestrel's POV
I walked back into my room and saw that Liam wasn't there. I leapt onto my bed and took a deep breath. I closed my eyes for a bit.
~¤~¤~¤~¤
I woke up to something hitting the floor outside. 'Ash?' I called. 'What is it?' He asked immediately.
'Is that you?' I ask him. 'I'm in the gym with Liam.' He says. I sit up right in bed. Who the hell is that?
I open my door and my two guards are still there. I walk past them and down the hall to Ash's room.
Both of his guards are knocked out. I bolt into his room and burst through the door. "What the fuck!?" I shriek.
Ash's best friend Reid was sitting beside Tundra, stroking her hair and watching her sleep. He turned to look at me after I screamed.
Tundra woke up and took one look at him. She scrambled off the bed and I leapt at Reid. I punched him in the face and kept on hitting him.
His face was all bloody and gross after I was finished with him. I tossed him onto the ground and sat on his stomach to make sure he didn't move.
'Ash, we need some help. I know who hurt Tundra.'
Tundra's POV
I whimpered as I curled into a ball on the floor. My heart was racing a billion miles per hour. Ash dashed into the room and his eyes landed on me first. He ran towards me and picked me up in a hug.
"Oh my god, Tundra." He whimpered as he held me.
Liam came in shortly after. He saw Kestrel sitting on my attacker. He growled and stomped over to them.
"Are you okay?" He asks Kestrel.
She was fuming with anger. She looked at Ash.
"Deal with this prick." She spat as she stood up.
Ash set me on the bed and stomped over to my intruder. His eyes widened in surprise and then he turned furious.
"How dare you hurt my mate?! How dare you put my pups in danger?!" He snarled viciously.
I noticed his eyes were flickering from black to his original eye colour. He was shaking with anger.
"ANSWER ME!!" He bellowed.
The guy smirked. "Maybe I wanted a little fun." He chuckled.
His laugh sent shivers down my spine, not good ones. Ash growled loudly and threw him across the room.
"You will NOT come near my mate or my pups, EVER again!!" Ash roared.
His eyes glazed over momentarily and seconds later, guards rushed in. They grabbed my attacker.
"Take him to the damn dungeon, I don't want to see his disgraceful face." Ash spat.
The guards nodded and dragged away the intruder. Kestrel and Liam talked to each other while Ash came over to me. He gently picked me up and held me in his arms.
"Are you okay?" He asked softly, seeming more calm that I'm in his arms.
"Ye-yeah... Thank you for saving me... Again." I mumbled.
I wish I could be useful. "You are useful, you bring joy to everyone. Especially me." He said as he kissed my forehead.
I nodded my head and hugged him tightly.
Kestrel's POV
"You should've called me." Liam tells me. "He could've hurt Tundra badly that time" I tell him, and it's true. There's no telling what he could've done.
"I'm sorry Liam, I just wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to her and I could've stopped it."
He pulls me into a tight embrace. "You just have a good soul in you." I pat his back and let go. "I'll be right back, I need to go do something."
He nods and goes to talk with Ash and Tundra. I think him and Ash are going to be good friends. I walk out of the room and look around.
I rush down the stairs and keep going. I go straight down to the lowest level and walk to the dungeon. Four beta guards stand there.
"I need to visit the newest prisoner." I say. They nod and step aside. I open the door and walk in.
"Hey! Let me out!" One of the prisoners demand. "Shut up!" The guard behind me says.
I walk to the very back of the prison and stand in front of the metal bars. "Why did you do it Reid?" I ask him.
I hear a low laugh. "Why not?" He says. "I want a specific answer you lowlife piece of shit." I grit through clenched teeth.
"We all have things we want in life, but lots of times we don't get it." Reid says. I hear chains hit the wall. "Open the door." I whisper to the guard.
He nods and unlocks it with a small key. I walk in and stand in front of Reid. "Tell me you douchebag." I spit out.
This is going to be a long day.
