Tundra's POV

I woke up in a bed. I weakly looked around andsaw I was in the infirmary of the Red River pack. I tried to get up but let out a loud yelp.

"Hey, hey, don't move." I heard a familiar voice. I looked to my right and saw Ash.

My eyes filled with tears as he hugged me gently. "I thought I lost you..." Ash whimpered.

"I-I didn't think you'd live..." He cried softly. I've barely ever seen him like this. I carefully hugged him back and kissed his cheek.

"I'm okay." I said. He pulled back with tears in his eyes. "Never leave my sight again, do you understand?" He ordered.

I nodded my head. "Yes." I said. "Good. I'm not almost losing you again..." He sighed as he pet my head.

"Where are the boys?" I asked. "Liam is with them." He stated. I nodded my head. "Hopefully we can live in peace. Hopefully it'll all be over" I said.

He nodded. "I hope so too." He sighed. I yawned. "You should sleep." He whispered.

I nodded my head and closed my eyes, falling asleep.

Kestrel's POV

I stand in front of my house as the wind whips in my hair. I'm not the same woman anymore.

Will my daughter recognize me?

Will Liam know who I am?

Will I know who that person in the mirror is?

I walk a few steps and hold the brass doorknob. I slowly turn it in my hands and push open the door.

I hear footsteps upstairs, then a crash in the living room. "Wait for me Jakob!" A little girl's voice calls.

"No way you're it!" Jakob calls back.

My baby girl is talking!

Three kids come running around the corner and stop at the sight of me.

My little girl had bright, snow white hair that went down to her bum. She looked like a tiny version of me, even if she was adopted.

"What's going on? Whenever you guys are quiet that means trouble."

I look at the stairs and Liam walks down.

"Kestrel."

"It's over, I'm the Alpha of the Red River pack now." I tell him.

He rushes to me and wraps his arms around me. I hug him back very tightly.

"It's all over, the war is over!" I tell him in between tears.

He lets me go and the kids still stare at me dumbfounded.

"Who is she daddy?" Amelia asks Liam.

"This is your mommy sweetheart, she's back." Liam tells her.

"But you said mommy had long white hair like snow!" She pouts.

I kneel down to her eye level. "I had to change my hair so I could keep you safe, it'll grow back." I reassure her.

She hugs me tightly and I cry again.

Tundra's POV

Once I was able to move again, Ash and I went back home.

"I can't wait to see the boys again. It's been so long..." I whispered.

Ash stopped for a moment. I turned around, confused. Lips were smashed onto mine and I felt the familiar tingle, telling me it was Ash kissing me.
