Chapter 28- Respect me

Penny's P.o.v

At exactly 9am the next morning a meeting was called to address the footage. Throughout this meeting we looked at evidence found and leads we could have. Of course we had no strong leads but we had strategies to put in place to make sure I was safe. Of course that meant my privacy was gone but if they got cameras into a heavily guarded castle without anyone noticing. Who knows what else thy are able to do.

We also thought we had a mole however this drew short again being tricky to say who it actually was especially as my dad knew each guard and believed none would do that.
Of course some council members believe their was a mole and my dad was being blinded so they had to come to the decision of checking everyone and tighter control on who and what comes into the castle.

Two hours later the meeting was done and we moved to the interviews to clear up a few questions.

I wasn't required to come however I felt as if I needed to. To defend myself.

"Are you sure you want to be here?" My dad asked for the millionth time.

"Yes dad. I need to show this swine that I am not effected by this"

"Okay but you tell me if you feel uncomfortable and we will stop straight away"

Sitting down I found myself in the middle of my dad and Nick with the advisors and other castle importance around me.

"Hello and thank you for coming to this meeting we will be answering question based on the events that happened yesterday. As you aware a video has immerged which steals the privacy away from my daughter, the princess it also breaks rules 23 and 76 as well as being illegal. We will start this meeting by saying under act 15 and rule 27 of incident images if this video is found to be on any media site they will be heavily find and will have a caught hearing. First question please" my dad starts off I mentally sigh why did I come. This is going to be so long.

The video was also the talk of the school. I had done the interview and everything went smoothly. Well I nearly fell asleep but other than that it was fine.

They had also cleared  the flat of cameras and installed there own camera hiring new staff who will monitor all the new camera's in place. They are mainly outside my apartment building and my door as well as being at dance and the school and mall.

They had warned everyone about sharing the video and it had been successfully taken down from all media. I was very thankful for that. I had also decided to listen to the positive comments and ignore the jealous ones.

"The nerve of some people how dare she come her and act like she owns him. Like why would he go for her anyways" I hear some say and others agree.

OH and I'm currently in a toilet well not literally in one but using one to do lady things in a very lady way... Yep its that time of the month...

"Like I have Mac makeup and designer clothes for f*ck sake I have had my nose done and boobs and he has still choose that tramp over me like have you see her clothes and them eyebrows I wouldn't be seen dead with them looking so horrific like eww"

Ok this is so awkward.

Can they hurry up and leave already.

"OH look who it is" the leader says laughing. "Where's your little body guard"

"He's not my bodyguard" I'd recognise that voice anywhere it's El...
Wait that must mean that girl is Chloe oh God. I quickly open the door finding Chloe and her minions blocking El in.

El's face lite up when she saw me. Chloe however not do much.

Shame...

"OH great look who's joined the little get together"

"Hey I'm just here to use the bathroom as a normal girl would do" I defend.

"You think you are so clearer don't you, little miss perfect" she sneers at me.

"No I don't think I'm perfect but I know you are pathetic" With that we walk out the bathroom into the crowded hallway. Yes I did wash my hands before.

"Don't you walk away"

"Why don't you just leave us alone Zeke and penny are perfect together and Jace thinks your desperate so you'd be doing yourself a favor by backing off" El says obvious to Chloe's angry stare.

"Desperate! Desperate! How dare you! Jace loves me and I am his world you are just an annoying wanna be who can't leave him alone because your focused on getting him to love you. Which will not happen as you are nothing but a little snob with awful eyebrows to match the ugly face and thee worst dress sense. Like how are you walking out the house in the morning" Chloe head suddenly jerks to the side as El looks angry.

"You are so dead!" Chloe charges at El but she was faster swooping her legs causing her to fall. El gets on top and as she's about to punch Jace comes in pulling her off.

"Did you see that omg she assaulted me" Chloe screams holding her nose which was dripping with blood.

"It was self defense! You attacked me because you are obsessed. You don't realise he is the PRINCE throwing yourself at him is rude and disrespectful, he will never like you" I have never heard this side of El. I like it.

"Chloe I'm sorry but El is right it is highly disrespectful and weird for you to keep forcing yourself upon me. I am a prince you need to respect me and my wishes" with that him and El walk away leaving everyone shocked. Jace just went in his prince mode. That is rare.

"C'mon let's leave" Zeke says pulling me away, an arm wrapped around my shoulder. "So I've been thinking we haven't had a date night in a while so how about Friday say 6" he asks stopping by the school doors.

"We had one Tuesday"

"So i can take you on another one. Do you not want to and Tuesdays date wasn't technically a date, pizza and lilo and stitch as date erm more like hanging out" he protests making me laugh I do love lilo and stitch.

"Okay okay we can go"

"Yayy" he shouts childish.

I love hanging out with him. I know I shouldn't in case he hates me once I tell him.

It was soon lunch and everything was normal there was a bit of gossip being spread around but mostly people kept to themselves.

"About our date Friday don't wear a dress its casual and warm clothes also pack a blanket and make sure you eat before you go" Zeke says. Blanket, casual warm clothing, and eat before I go? We are so going to the cinema.

"Hmmm is that a cinema date I detect?" I tease.

"My lips are sealed" he pretends to lock his lip and throw the key away leaving me laughing.

It was later that evening and I had decided to dance my heart out. Getting rid of my anger I sit down panting. Trying to recover.

"Now I haven't seen you dance like that since well actually I don't remember. So what's the matter?"

"I.. Just everything. First I'm gonna lose my boyfriend if I tell him my real identity but he deserves to know and I feel so bad for not telling him but I just can't. I can't loose him when he's so perfect and I love him so much. But if he is going to be with me he needs to know its not far to keep him in the dark.  Then we still don't know who did those photos so potentially could be spying on me now. Then why are they spying and on me like if anyone I would have thought it would be my dad or nick"

"You my child are in a pickle however you'll get through this and with the issue with your boyfriend tell him. Don't leave it to long he'll never thank you for that and keep your head up and smile" miss Gallet says. She gets up leaving me to think and dance.
