New! Chapter 13- Football Match

Penny's P.o.v

At lunch everyone was buzzing for the football match later. Zeke was sitting with us talking to Duke about tactics and totally ignoring me. We where outside because it was a nice day and I was using Zeke as my deckchair. Leaning back into his chest as we ate chips. Sometimes I'd grab one and navigate it to Zeke's lips but because I couldn't see what I was doing miss and hit his check. This happened a few times till he'd gotten fed up of me and took the chip off of me.

After English which consisted of a buzzing class and a bored teacher talking about a review, I met up with the girls and tommy, getting snacks and heading to the football pitch.

Getting our spot I obsevered others, parents where here with young children who were kitted out with football gear and fan bits.

I hunted for Zeke's parents and siblings and found everyone but Zeke's dad. Its a shame he didn't come I know Zeke would have liked him to.

Matt was shaking, he was worried about meeting his blind date whereas I was extremely excited. I hoped they'd find love. Its been a while since tommy has been with anyone and it would nice to see him find something he's so desperate for..

I'd been texting Zeke who was warming up with the others and let me just say wow. Him and a football outfit is just wow.

"Tommy let's go he's here with his mates, I'll he back girls" I dragged tommy to where matt was smiling.

I had gotten back to the girls who had more snacks and where observing the lads.

"Girl you got lucky with that one" ari points to zeke who had taken off his shirt, you was now able to see he's back muscles tense as he threw the ball into the pitch before joining them passing the ball to each other.

He looked so at ease here and like he's relaxing. Which is weird because when they play FIFA he isn't relaxing, instead he shouts and gets annoyed. Men.

"How long till the other team are here?" I ask but I see them come onto the pitch so my question is answered. They where from the next town over, it is a nice place by the coast, but very traditional which is why they are so damn good at football and I knew that worried Zeke.

As they turned up the game was about to begin and the captains and trainers where with the team talking tactics and calming them down but at the same time getting them ready for the big game.

"Go down and call you man down. Wish him good luck" Gemma pushed me down the stairs to the bar which cut us of from the field stopping anyone getting onto the pitch. "He's not mine!" I shout back but they just wave.

Stupid friends.

Zeke however must have seen this as he jogs over and picks himself up onto the wall so he could be eye to eye with me.

"Gonna wish me luck?" He asks smirking.

"Yes now good luck and go do your thing" I say leaning forward and hugging him. Of course that isn't good enough for him and he kissed my check making some girls aw.

Like seriously he kissed my check I'm the one swooning and blushing not them so why do we need sound affects. Honestly.

"Now your pushing your luck" I laugh slightly pushing him so he jumps down, which he does and runs to join the team.

"I really don't see what he sees in you" Chloe says as I pass her on the way up to the girl.

"Well hmm tricking I know. Oh wait I do know. I'm nice, kind, caring, not desperate, won't cheat on him and I am quite happy supporting everything he does all the things you don't do" with that I left not wanting to get into an argument and being kicked out of the stadium.

At half time it was 1:1 and tommy and matt, who where on their date had successfully embarrassed me and Zeke. More Zeke than me as I didn't care, well I didn't till they was given pom poms and proceeded to get kicked out but that didn't mean they didn't stop instead they carried on while walking down the stairs out the door. And everyone was cheering them on!

As the game started up again Aiden got a break through and took off on the outside quick. He got near the goal but a rival had caught up and challenged for the ball sohe quickly passed to Zeke who went for the net.

It missed.

Defeated they run to the middle and tried again.
But they expected this the rirvals where one of the best teams and it was always gonna be a hard match they was lucky to get the first break through but to score again was unlikely. Plus their personal cheerleaders had been escorted out.

The game eneded at 1:1 which was still good and all team matwes where congratulating each other. The coach looked happy and everyone was happy.

"CELEBRATION PARTY AT MINE!" George a team member known for party's shouts and everyone cheers again.

Jace had text me to meet him in a corridor to the left of the food court when everyone was leaving. I told the girls I was going to the toilet and would be back to search for him. I found him as he was leaving on the wall lookin at his phone like usual. When I approached him he gave me a quick hug before smiling.

"I suppose I can accept you liking Zeke, he's a good lad" with that I humped on him. Approval from jace was everything after all he was my twin. I wouldn't have cared if he didn't like Zeke as long as I like the person and they make me smile it doesn't matter about his opinion but knowing he does like him makes me feel better about it.

Just dad and nick next.

I was still on jace hugging him when footsteps where heard and before I could get down someone screamed.

"Penny!"
