Chapter 22- Date Night

I never got to tell him the next day. Well the next week. School and dance kept us busy but I had seen Mr j who always urges me to tell him but I always backed out. I was going to tell him on our date tonight but maybe not.

I've given up planning and I'm now going to just do it in the spur of the moment.

I bet your all wondering where I'm taking Zeke for the date, right?

Well it is a extremely hot and clammy place with masses of flowers and bushes.

There are many small creates hear.

Both small and large.

Some slither.

Some fly.

Any guesses.

THE BUTTERFLY FARM!!!

Good idea right?

"Right I need you to step out the car and hold onto my hands you can't take the blind off just yet" I say helping him put the car.

"This is seriously hurting my ego penguin"

"Oh get over it now a few more steps and we are there" I had paid in advance and told them my plans so nothing gave it away.

We stepped into the place being slapped by the plastic sheets keeping the butterflies in and we are blasted by hot air.

"Where am I?" Zeke asks confused.

"Just hold you hand out" I'm hoping a butterfly lands on his outstretched palm. Luckily enough after a few seconds one does so I quickly undo his blindfold.

"A butterfly?" He asks slightly lifting his palm.

"Yes we are at the butterfly farm. Home to around 20 species of butterfly and caterpillars. Don't you just feel at home?"

"Wow" he laughs hard dropping his hand so the butterfly fly's away. "This is amazing"

"Now come on there's so much to see!" I say excitedly grabbing his had to pull him further in so we can explore more.

We had just finished looking round the whole building and had come out for lunch which I had planned to be at the small café next door.
It was full of butterfly memorabilia and you sat on a stool that looked like a toadstool and was served by women and men with antennas and wings.

"Hello and welcome to butterflies cafe. My names Linda and I will be your waitress. Can I get you something?" She's asks politely.

"Do you do the spaghetti and meatballs?" Zeke asks knowing its a favourite of ours.

"Yes would you like two portions of that or the romantic share plate" she asks.

"Well have the share plate please" Zeke says before I had the time to say separate.

"Oh god why did you order that" I ask when she leaves.

"Because we can be like the lady and the tramp however it will be the lady and the incredibly sexy guy she can't get enough of" he winks.

"Your just trying to boost your ego up after being taken blindfolded into a butterfly farm" I say laughing.

We joke around about more before the dish is served and we get stunk into it. Around half way through the plate I slurp a spaghetti up however have to suck harder when it gets stuck in some other spaghetti. Soon it becomes free and lips connect to mine.

Oh god.

My eyes widen as I see how close Zeke's face is to mine. Biting I pull mark blushing like mad.

"Oh my god" I say before bursting out into laughter Zeke joins and we just sit there laughing.

"That was so chic" he laughs out as we try and catch pur breath but we end up laughing even more.

"Thank you for such a brilliant day, who would have known you was so creative" Zeke says as we stand by my apartment door. It is risky but I have decided that it would be to weird if I didn't allow him to walk me to my door.

"I'm full of surprises" I wink

"That you are"

He steps closer grabbing my jaw gently in his hand. Looking at my lips then to my eyes before back down to my lips asking me if I will allow him to. I nod slightly bringing my face forward allowing my lips to connect with his.

We spring away suddenly when the door of my apartment rips open throwing us of balance seen as that was our resting place.

"Break it up" grumpy guard says opening the door wide

"What are you doing here? Where's fizz?" I ask startled, ever since we made up my dad allowed fizz to stay with me and I could see Zeke as long as I told him soon and dad could meet him.

"Fizz is ill, so your dad appointed me to watch over you again"

"What? Is she alright" I ask panicked I haven't seen her today I left for school then pur date right away.

"Yes she has just come down with a virus going round and didn't want to pass it on to you. She'll be back when she's better. Now finish here and come inside" with that he leaves.

"I'll see you tomorrow at school then" Zeke kisses my check before leaving.

Special update of their date seen as it's Valentine's day although I'm alone, eating ice cream and studying.
