Camilia's POV
Bright light.
Bright light shining on my face.
I opened my eyes and it was the sun shining. It's morning.
I felt my hand holding onto something. I looked down and saw my grip on Evan's arm. I gently let go.
He was on my bed. Sleeping.
I tried my best to quietly get out of bed. Quietly.
But as I was about to open the door, I heard my name.
"Camilia?"
I looked back and it was Evan. He was awake.
"You're up?" he asked. "Are you okay? You need anything?"
He sounded really worried.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine," I said. "I was just going to wash up."
I left the room towards the bathroom.
Evan's POV
I woke up. I didn't see Camilia on the bed. My heart almost dropped.
Then I heard footsteps going towards the door.
"Camilia?" I asked.
I looked back and saw her about to open the door. I let out a sigh of relief.
"You're up?" I asked her. "Are you okay? You need anything?"
"Y-yeah, I'm fine," she said. "I was just going to wash up."
She went out the room and I just stayed there on the bed.
I let out a sigh. "She's fine," I mumbled out.
I got up and went to the kitchen. As I was looking through the fridge, Crinkle was jumping around my feet. I gently kicked her as I didn't want to drop the carton of eggs that I was holding.
"Sorry, Crinkle. I have to make breakfast right now."
Crinkle probably heard someone get out the bathroom so she ran towards the sound.
Camilia's POV
Woof woof.
I looked down on my feet and saw Crinkle. I knelt down and she started jumping on me. I laughed as she was being energetic.
"Why are you so cuuute??" I said.
I walked to the living room and she followed me.
"Do you want to play?" I asked her.
I took a chew toy and tossed it across the living room. Crinkle ran for it and came back to me with the chew toy in her mouth. Because of her cuteness, I couldn't help but giggle every time she came back.
"Well good morning to you too."
I looked up and saw Evan in the kitchen making breakfast.
"Good morning," I greeted back to him. "Umm, do you need help?"
"Well no, but you can set the plates down on the table."
I got up and did as he told.
By the time I was finished, the food was already done. Evan and I both sat down and ate quietly.
Evan's POV
I wanted to talk to her about what happened last night. But it seems like she might have forgotten about it or maybe she just doesn't want to talk about it.
