Sleepover

"Thank you so much for letting Auggie stay with you, while we take Riley for her surgery this weekend!" Cory says to Katy.

"No problem, Cor. Auggie is such a cutie," Katy replies, pinching Auggie's cheeks and giving him a hug.

"Well, he is MY offspring, so what do you expect haha," Cory says.

"Can't argue with ya there! Tell Riley we're thinking of her and good luck on her surgery," Katy says as Cory starts out the door.

"Will do! Bye Auggie, I love you so much!"

Katy turns to Auggie and leads him to the guest room where he is going to be staying for the next two days.

"How's this, Auggster?" Katy asks.

Auggie replies with a big thumbs up and a smile as he sets his stuff down on the floor.

"Ok, so Maya is gonna be home soon, do you wanna help me make her an after school snack?"

"Is Mr.googlie my favorite show? YESSS"

They go into the kitchen and set up chips and dip on the table for Maya to eat when she comes back from school. Keys are heard rattling in the door and the door flies open to reveal Maya walking in. Maya's eyes move straight to the table to see the food that was set up for her.

"Ooooh food"

Auggie runs out of the kitchen to greet Maya.

"Hi Maya! we're gonna be roomies for the weekend"

"Hey Aug! it's gonna be a fun weekend!"

*Later That Night*

"Are you here yet?" Maya whispers on the phone to Lucas.

"Yep I'm coming in the usual way so open your window," Lucas replies as he climbs the fire escape to get to Maya's bedroom window.

MAYA POV

I go to open the window and see Lucas waiting outside on the fire escape. I help him in my room and he kisses me quickly on the lips.

"Hi babe," Lucas whispers.

"Hey," I reply.

We hear footsteps coming in the hallway, causing me to panic and hide Lucas under my bed.

"Why do I always have to go under the bed?" Lucas whines.

"Oh calm down the ferret will keep you company and be quiet," I whisper.

The footsteps come closer to the door and the doorknob turns. I quickly sit on my bed to act normal, so my mom doesn't suspect that I'm actually hiding my boyfriend under my bed. The door opens and my mom comes waltzing in with a bowl of ice cream and whipped cream.

"Thought you'd want some dessert, babygirl you seemed kind of off at dinner," Katy says as she places them on her dresser. I look up and smile at her.

"Thanks, mom!"

Katy leaves my room and Lucas comes from under the bed. He looks at the dresser and sees the whipped cream.

"Whipped cream, huh thats something we never tried before," He flirtaciously smirks and laughs.

"It is something we never tried before, huckleberry how about we try it right now," I laugh as I squirt some in my hand and smear it on his face.

"That's not what I meant haha, but if that's how you wanna play, then," Lucas throws whipped cream back in my face and gives me a sloppy kiss on my lips.

"I hate you," I laugh.

"You love me," Lucas replies.

*A few hours later*

Lucas and I are watching netflix on my bed, his arms wrapped around me and his head resting on top of mine.

"Ok, so we watched four episodes of friends, now can we do something I wanna do," Lucas laughs as he closes the computer.

"And that is....?"

Lucas quickly rips off his shirt and tosses it aside, moving closer to my body. I take off my top and throw it off the bed, when he begins trailing soft kisses down my jawline to my neck and then crashes his lips into mine, as my legs wrap around his torso.

"I.. love..you.. maya," He says in between kisses.

*Later that night*

Lucas and I fell asleep tangled in each other's arms when all of a sudden my bedroom doorknob turns and Auggie walks through. I was snuggled into Lucas' side, my arm resting on top of his chest and his arm wrapped around me, his hand intertwined with mine. Auggie taps on my shoulder and i jolt awake, causing Lucas to get up as well, both of us confused as ever.

"Maya, are you awake? I can't sleep.... wait a minute why is Lucas here?" Auggie says, rubbing his eyes.

 I sit up and give him a hug.

"Why, Aug? bad dreams?" I ask trying to change the subject, hoping he would forget it.

"Yeah, but Maya, why is Lucas sleeping here?"

".....Ummm he is....."

"We are having a sleepover, Aug just like you have with Doy," Lucas says in a gentle tone.

"Ohhhh, well have fun!" Auggie says in his usual happy voice.

"Well, Auggie, try to go back to sleep and if you have another bad dream, just think of something really happy and it will go away, I promise." Lucas whispers in a cute voice.

"Thanks, lucas i'll try"

"Oh and Auggie can you please not tell my mommy that Lucas was here?" I whisper.

"But, why?"

"Because my mommy doesn't like me having sleepovers, so I think it would be better if she didn't know"

"Okayyy," Auggie replies with a suspicious tone. He leaves the room and goes back to sleep.

Lucas looks up at me with loving eyes and says,

"I'd say we handled that pretty well we would make awesome af parents when we get older," Lucas says with a huge smile on his face as he leans in to kiss me.

I playfully slap him on his arm and lower myself back on to the bed, snuggling into his side, his arms wrapping back around me.

"We would, wouldn't we?" I reply.
