MAYA POV

I wake up in our hotel room and roll over to see Lucas sleeping next to me. I wake him up by hitting him with a pillow and kissing him on the cheek.

"Wake up, huckleberry!" I exclaim.

Lucas rolls over and groans, swatting away the pillow.

"Give me five more minutes, babe," He says in his tired and raspy voice.

"Lucas! we have to get to the park early to avoid all the lines," I reply, flipping his body over to my side, "Now put on a shirt and get out of bed so we can eat breakfast and leave to the park."

I hop out of bed and before I can even think of getting dressed, a pair of arms snake around my waist and pull me back into bed. Lucas pulls me on top of him and kisses me all over my face causing me to giggle uncontrollably until I finally break out of his embrace and start getting ready.

"Huckleberry, hurry up and get out of bed and get ready"

Lucas finally swings his legs over the bed and goes to the bathroom to get ready.

"And the cowboy finally gets up!" I say sarcastically as I finish my last bit of makeup.

*At the park*

We finally get to the park after an two hours of taking buses and the ferry. It was very boring, but at least Lucas was with me to make it a little more bearable. We go through the gate, hand our tickets to the employee and we get ready for the time of our lives. We just graduated high school a few weeks ago and this was our grad present from both of our parents, so we are trying to make this trip unforgettable. This is our first time going on a vacation together alone and I am so excited for the memories we are going to make together.

"What do you wanna do first, short stack?" Lucas asks me.

I look around the park only to see a million possibilities and finally make my decision.

"Let's go on space mountain! that's my favorite," I answer excitedly as we start running to the ride.

We get to the ride, only to find a line that literally is going to take forever and a half to get through. This is just great.

"You look so cute in your minnie ears," He laughs and plants a small kiss on my forehead.

"And you look so cute in your mickey ears... oh wait you refused to put them on," I reply, laughing.

The line is still taking forever and we eventually both decide to just ditch the ride and go get some food because we are both starving.

We start towards "Chef Mickeys" which is my favorite place to eat here. Lucas, being the gentleman that he is opened the door for me and we went in and ate.

As we are sitting at the table, Lucas starts staring at me with an endearing look.

"I am so in love with you, Maya Penelope Hart," He says to me causing me to blush out of control.

"I'm so in love with you too, Lucas"
