Chapter five

Ray P.O.V

I have been thinking for a week on how to save Henry, when I got an idea. I'll replace Henry. I go up the elevator,I smile at the thought of Henry safe again,but a dark pit is in my stomach for having to take his place.

Henry P.O.V

I've been here for a week now. And,I'm wondering...is Ray ever coming back? Will I be stuck here forever? Tears prick my eyes at the thought of Ray abandoning me to the Walldogs. No,he'd never! But why hasn't he come back? Unless... They hurt him! I feel tears before I know I'm crying. Ray is hurt...and it's all my fault.

Ray P.O.V

I have told Charlotte my plan. She disagreed.

"You can't think of a plan where you don't become the prisoner?" Charlotte snapped.

"This is  for Henry,I have to save ,Charlotte" I reply.

"But... You'll never come back,we'll miss you..." Charlotte's anger is drowned out by sadness.

"I know..and Charlotte.. I love you as my own daughter" I mumble,I never was comfortable telling her her my feelings.

"I love you too,Ray" she croaks and hugs me.

My eyes widen at first, she's never hugged me,then I melt into her arms,closing my eyes. 

"Bye..." she comes up,her eyes have tears in them.

I give her one last squeeze before going to save my son.

Henry P.O.V

I sigh and lean against the wall. My head is pounding from my cut in my eyebrow. I start to feel dizzy and light weight. Blood still seeps out from my cut, my face is pale. My body hurts. This is what it must feel like...like..to...die...
