Chapter Six

Ray P.O.V

I enter the warehouse where the Walldogs are keeping Henry captive. I open the door and I'm instantly surrounded by Walldogs. I back up and hold up my hands in surrender. "Whatcha doin here" a black haired teen demanded. "I'm here for Henry-" I start. "Well you ain't getting him" a red head cuts in. I sigh,this was gonna be harder than I thought. "I'll take his place" I said,hoping they didn't hear the worry. The red head clicked his teeth and grabbed me. He called for his boss. Van Duel strutted out,god how bad I wanted to punch him. "Oh,Captain Man" he smiled. "He's taking Kid Danger's place" some kid tells him. Van Diel looks at me,grinning. "He is,eh?" he asks,easing an eyebrow. I nod at him,gulping. "Fine,V,go get him" Van Diel ordered Veronika. She did as she was told.

Then,she brought back a pale, beaten,bruised and weak kid. This looked nothing like the perky kid I knew. My heart went out to him. He opened his eyes weakly,they seemed to lighten at me. Then fell back into darkness as they took me away. "Ray" he cried out weakly,trying to fight,but was so weak. I sighed as they settled me into a locked room. They left,locking the door. And all the time,I told myself..this is for Henry.

Henry P.O.V

I was tosses into an alley way. My body ached. I strangled to my feet and stumbled to Junk-n-Stuff. Gooch jumped at my appearance. He rushed to me and hugged me. "Henry,we've missed you" he said in a foren accent. I smiled weakly,when Charlotte came out.

"Henry!" she yelped in surprise. She hugged me tightly. It hurt,but I didn't care. "Chenry" Gooch sighed as he went back to work. I smiled weakly,he always teased us about that couple name. I took a seat at the counter. My vision was blurry and body ached with pain. I only rembered a few things. Ray had came to save me,he got took away by Van Diel. Wait. Ray got tooken away by Van Diel! I lurched up and my pulse quicken,Charlotte looked at me with worry.

"What?" she asked.

"Ray! I gotta save him!" 

"Henry,you will,just rest"

"No! I gotta!" 

I stood up and stumbled to the door,Charlotte blocked me.

"Henry. Henry. HENRY!" she yelled,getting in front of me. I pushed once more,then stopped and looked at her.

"You can't save him right now,you're hurt" Charlotte said in a calm tone. 

"No,you don't understand!"I yelped in sadness. Charlotte put her hands on my shoulders.

"I do understand, you want to save him,but you are hurt!" she stated,forcefully. I jerked back.

"No! You don't understand! Charlotte you never have and you never will! I love Ray with all my heart! He's like another father to me! If anything happens to him...I don't know what I'd do,Charlotte he neanbs so much to me..,I don't want to lose him" I cried. Tears trickled down my face. Charlotte hugged me. I hugged her tighter.

I ment what I said.

If Ray got hurt...I'd never be the same.
